"Waiting for approval" makes us feel insecure if not acted upon immediately.

We have the feeling of being insulted or embarrassed if our post made to your forum is not immediately acknowledged or approved for we are, of course, waiting that it would be counted as a credit to our The Forum Wheel account.

We don't have to mention whose forums are too lazy to take action, if not immediately, to a recent post submitted in the later time. What we want for you is to let us know as your subscriber to your forum so that we will be credited to our respective TFW account.

We do understand that for some time constraint you may not able to update it right away. But there are forums that take so much time like a day or two or even never to approve our recent posts.

Let's be fair for we are penalized, blocked or even removed from the site if we violate any of the terms of service from the forum site.

I am airing this for and behalf of my fellow TFW members especially those who are directly affected.

Although I am relatively new to TFW, I feel compelled to add my own voice here. I have been an administrator before and I can understand the concern regarding making sure you're getting proper posts. I can only imagine that when you are inverting money it becomes of the utmost importance to make sure every cent is worth it.

I have no problems regarding manually approving the accounts themselves. I can understand and wait a reasonable amount of time for it. I am trying to get paid by posting so my expectation would be to be approved in less than 72 hours. Anything after that I think it would be better for you to warn us in the rules or description.

Waiting for approval in posts should just be a temporary thing. Some sort of probation. A few days should collect enough amount of posts for you to determinate if what they show is up to your standards. Otherwise it is very likely that many members will lose interest in keeping up with the community, specially if they haven't had a chance to become invested.

TFW rate us based on our performance in the Gateway and it is interested in making sure we're doing our paid job properly. If we're failing your expectations, based on what I have read around here, you can talk with the staff of TFW. They want to make things fair so they will take proper measures to keep you satisfied and keep us in line.

In the end, as writers, we just want to know clearly what to expect. We will appreciate to be informed before joining rather than finding out the hard way and have that getting in the way of our own plans.

Thank you for reading and considering our thoughts.

@Kaynil I do appreciate your bold stance on the role of the forum owners. It is but proper that you have expressed it here. I am afraid that those forum owners concerned are not reading this. In fact, I have concerned. I have just joined a recent forum here and successfully subscribed to the said forum and started writing posts. After submitting five posts as the limit, only three were credited and I was banned without reason. This is the second time that I was banned on the forum owned by the same person. The first forum I was told of my mistakes for I asked him, but here in the second forum I wasn't informed.

I am just trying to bring a balanced view given that I have been in both sides of the spectrum. Right now I am writer, so my interest lies mainly in being treated well and paid properly for my effort. What you have said shows that there are scammers in both sides of the fence trying to see how they can cheat the system. It is important that when someone makes foul play, whichever side is affected can feel reassured that it will dealt with in a just and timely manner.

I am sorry you had to experience that. Have you informed @KenBrace or another staff of this issue? I think it is imperative they know which forum owners are doing this kind of things. There is a high probability I have joined both forums from this same author. If he pulls the same thing with me, I'll make sure to let you and the staff know and hopefully we can be compensated and have this person be properly dealt with.

As a forum owner I have to comment on this as this seems very one sided. I know this is not a very new topic but I believe it still stands.

As a forum owner it is very difficult to find good writers here on niche topics. Writers often do not read the rules wreitten in the forum description and end up posting in off topic forums that do not matter. In addition manyw riters come in and post little comments that have nothing at all to do with the thread they are commenting in. Many writers will make the maximum amount of posts all at once and then be gone..

    Who is scamming who here?

I always hear about the poor, poor writers but it is forum owners who are paying cold hard cash.. Poor writers do not help communitiues but hurt communities. Pleasde be aware of both sides of this issue!

Your min. rating is pretty high which means only those who were rated highly by other forum owners can post in yours. You may have higher standards so maybe increase the requirement or rate accordingly. I have a high enough rating for your forum and haven't been rated lower than 4.6 in the past few months. I still don't join yours because I know nothing of the topic. Maybe make it clear that if they know nothing, don't post anything.
