Do you prefer to go to the gym or workout at home?

    I prefer going to the gym once in a while because there may some equipment that I don't have at home.

    I think it depends on what you want because there are some differences between a gym and working out at home that will present sooner or later.

    At home you can take your time, exercise like you want, go at your own pace and all of this for free. The problem is the lack of proper equipment to do some routines. In my case I do it at home but because I don't have other choice. I used to go to a gym in my town but it was expensive and the building was small so it was a little cramped, the machines were old and it didn't have an instructor, it was just a mess.

    However, giving the chance I'd choose a gym again because I like lifting but first I need money and time.

    I like the gym because it fun place to workout. I don't have to set up stuff so i can workout.

    Working out at the gym is works better for me.
    I struggle with staying focus and adhering to a set workout plan. If I workout at home, distractions (e.g. television, computer and wifi) will get the best of me. And while gyms with wifi are a plus, being at the gyms urges you to do more as you will come to the realization that you left your house, not to come and idle, but to workout. Also gyms have trainers and while home DVDs are more affordable, you get a one on one interaction with the trainer as to how to workout and possibly exercise recommendations that will suit your body type.

    While I'll take nothing away for exercising in the comfort of your home, the gym is my choice of workout location.

    Sport is an important requirement for everyone if you want healthy, prevent a disease it's better than to treat it. Sports can be done indoors or outside room. And I do it depends on conditions at the time. Maybe this time, going to the gym is a sport trend and important needs for many people.

    For me personally, I prefer to go to the gym because I would meet up with old friends or new friends. Friendship, talking, and laughing together is the my main reason go to the gym. And of course, do sports will make our body always healthy and cheerful. ;)

    I always have something around my house if my bored enough in it to work out a bit, but I prefer going to the gym due the equipment they have there, my 15kg dumbells arent enough anymore. But you can also achieve good results exercising at home ;D

    Most times, I prefer to workout at home rather than going to the gym so that I don't get distracted, and I am very busy during the week so going to the gym is very inconvenient in terms of my schedule. In addition, home exercise is way cheaper than a gym membership and there are many videos online showing the proper technique for many exercise routines.

    I prefer to workout at home as I'm only working out to stay fit. But if you're working out for bodybuilding I suggest you go to the gym as working out with equipment, such as weights is most effective. And buying weights and other gym equipment could be very costly.

    I prefer working out at home. We have a stationary bike as well as a bench press, both of which I can use right after I wake up. I would usually turn on my Spotify app to play whatever song is in my head, and that would get me going on the bike. It's turning out to be a nice morning routine for me--I get to sweat and at the same time, I get charged with lots of endorphins in my body.

    Nor one or the other. I prefer walking or go jogging, both alone, very early in the morning, so I start my day off in a good mood.

    Gyms can turn into good achievement when socialization is also what people aim for. There are times when gyms are crowded and when you look around, people are just talking and they forget about the exercises. I don't blame them because it seems to be a need for so many. But this can become a nightmare for those who only want to exercise as the equipments are always taken and the waiting to use them is endless. So, for me gyms don't work.

    The fact is that exercises are important in all aspects, mainly to keep our body in good condition to face everyday life and maintaining this good habit is also a plus for longevity.

    I definitely prefer working out at home. I'm just not comfortable with working out in front of other people. I'm not sure why, I don't have a weight issue or anything. I always feel like I look ridiculous and I'd rather do that in the comfort and privacy of my own home.

    I love working out from the comfort of my own home. I don't have to worry about everyone around me and I'm in my own area. I'm able to focus more when there isn't a lot of things going on at once. I do feel as if going to the gym is a bit overrated. There are ways that we can turn rooms in our houses or a garage into our own personal gym and save extra money vs. being charged monthly.

    I workout at home. I did try the gym a number of times before. Gym instructors follow you around and some people stare at you while you use the equipment. I get really conscious. So instead, I download Insanity workout in my laptop and endure the torture. In a span of one month, I'm a happily fit woman.

    I would prefer to go to gym. Workout under a Trainer is more beneficial then my guesswork at home. Trainer
    understand everybody's body well and I can do workout accordingly. Gyms are also equipped with modern and required equipment so workout there is more safe and effective.

    I am have no time to do the exercises at a gym so I do it at home. It is important to do the exercises corкectly and then they will bring the results! Look how to do exercises !

    As a mom of three young kids, I prefer to workout at home, as I do not need to find someone else to babysit my kids, and I do not need to travel far to go to the gym. Moreover, I can't afford to pay for the membership now. I also find it more relaxing and flexible to workout at home. The downside is that I might lose motivation to workout consistently. :p

    I agree with Lee Ka, I believe that workout at home is definitely more relaxing and you are able to workout at your own pace. The only problem I experience with working out at home is that you may not have the specific equipment you want :) Other than that, I think working out at home is a perfect way to have fun and become healthier!

    I preferthe gym rather than home workouts ,because the gym has different and many equipments I can choose from. Many of the equipments be treadmills , Weights ,Pull up equipment , and as well as many bicyclists .

    I Love having the choice to do other things , instead of walking , and or jogging around the neighborhood.
