How to stay positive

    In todays world, with so much stress and problems, how does one stay positive? How to discard the things that trouble us and how to find that one star to focus on for positivity.

    Well in this thread, I plan to answer any questions you may have.

    Positive thinking is like a fine art, you need to have that something click in you and to see the world in different eyes in order to start thinking positive.

    If you like to be held, seek attention and like interacting with people but you seem to turn away any that come close to you, you might have a personality disorder that is called Borderline Personality Disorder. And you should seek a therapist.

    For me personally, staying positive is a daily task and one that I do really good, given the circumstances. I used to be a very depressed kid but today I am a super positive adult that has a whole new outlook on life. I went through some hardships and still am, but I wouldn't change anything since I believe that made me into the man I am today. If I was per say born into a rich family, I might've grown to be a condescending spoiled person but that wouldn't be my fault, it was something I was born into. We all have problems and we all think they are the worst ones and some of us want sympathy, some of us want the others to see how bad we are feeling. and other times we just want recognition for the stuff we are enduring on a daily basis.

    To stay positive, we have to constantly remind ourselves of our goals and the positives in our life, no matter how few we have. Find that driving force with which we can conquer any given obstacle.

    What are you tools and thought processes that you go through to stay positive? Any recommendations? Post them below.

    How do I stay positive? I go through daily living one moment, one hour and one day at a time. Hope this makes sense!! :) Make the most of every situation you are in. You may say to yourself "this situation can be worse". Set realistic goals for yourself (IE- financially, physically). We all go through the deepest and darkest of issues. Asking for help, to deal with something in our lives, is not a weakness. It's a strength. Let's learn to love ourselves. If we do that, our lives will change to more positive ones.

    Staying positive can indeed be a struggle in a world full of negative people.I stay positive by surrounding myself with optimists,accepting everyday challenges as they come and appreciating my weaknesses for what they are but not allowing them to pull me down.Being positive goes a long way in giving you a happier and fulfilling life because you will get to appreciate all that is around you no matter how insignificant it may appear at first.
