What is a healthy breakfast?

    Many magazine review on the type of foods one should eat as breakfast. I take a cup of milk and some fruits like banana to start of my day. Apart from cereals what else can you encourage people to be eating in the morning to improve there healthy living ?

    @Djbeckah Taking milk is good but it's better not to take banana in empty stomach.
    Breakfast should be taken very nicely as it's the energy bank which we need for the days need and work.
    Best will be to take oatmeal, or egg scrambled with wheat bread and any of the fresh natural juice.

    Breakfast should compromise of a well and clean diet.By clean I mean it shouldn't compromise of fatty foods or junk.
    A plate of fruits which includes grapes,a piece of Orange and a banana is a nice start with a hot cup of tea and oat bread is a healthy breakfast.

    Avocado toast, scrambled eggs and arugula, healthy pancakes, and more healthy stuff.
    Breakfast is a very important meal! The food you eat in the morning can have an impact on how hungry or satisfied you feel later in the day

    The best breakfast for me is a high fiber breakfast such as bread, oatmeal, fruits and the likes. I see it as initial cleanser of my body, residue remover of last night's fill. Also it serves as a preparatory phase for my digestive track. High fiber diet are hard to digest to I am giving my digestive system a good wakeup call to a long day ahead.

    A healthy breakfast is one that does not consist of both oil and water. I say this because the body system does not react properly to both at the same time. It must choose which one to digest first. Most of the time, it does not digest either one, it just sits on your chest until you belch it up.

    Breakfast is the most essential meal to kick start the day. I believe in starting with a glass of warm water with a slice of lemon to clear up the toxins ,then eating a balanced healthy meal comprising of proteins,vitamins and carbohydrates .Thereof,one can proceed with the day as a happy person.

    You should really try to take some animal protein like eggs or sausages. Also try to eat at least one fruit or alternatively, drink some fresh fruit juice. Remember to drink some water during the day because water is life.

    The best way to start a new day is to take fruit as your breakfast. As a Vegetarian, i believe, fruits helps to remove toxins away from the body, enhancing proper digestion and thus improving the general well-being of the body. To get the best result, it is advisable to put yourself in a 22 days challenge, so that by day 22, you would have adapt efficiently with the pattern. I suggest starting with the combination of Apple, water melon and pine-apple.

    Breakfast is the body's fuel for the day. Though fruits are good for cleansing the body, they are not more needed in the morning than corn, unbolted bread.... This articles are good for energy which you need in the morning.

    Fruits can be eaten at your third meal comfortably. First, they are easily digested and second, the minerals will help the body cleanse itself during night rest.

    At the end of the day the best answer, for me would be what my father taught our family: "Stick to the basics, keep it natural."

    With prices rising constantly that is the best way, for our family to live by.

    Apart from providing us with energy, breakfast foods aregood sources of important nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins as well as protein and fibre. The body needs these essential nutrients and research shows that if these are missed at breakfast, they are less likely to be compensated for later in the day.

    I love to have a healthy breakfast. In today's world people are getting less time in the morning to have a healthy breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I shall recommend everyone to spare some time in the morning to have a healthy breakfast. I have boiled or scrambled eggs with toast, oatmeal, some fruit like apple or banana and some walnuts or almonds.

    Though it may not seem like a big deal, skipping breakfast can be very detrimental to health, mind and waistline. Skipping breakfast may shave off a few minutes of the day, but it could also shave off years of a person's life. People who skip a healthy breakfast tend to crave fattier foods and eat more than they would have during the rest of the day.

    I think a healthy breakfast would be fruits, oats and cereals. Start your day with fiber rich foods so tbat early in the morning you will make a trip to the comfort room to clean your system. Also may I add that you should eat just the right amount of food everything in moderation. Many eat their breakfast full of fried foods and also processed foods that is dangerous to our health.

    Personally, I usually eat a slice of avocado toast with a soft-boiled egg on top. I would pay attention to what kinds of cereals you're eating as many can contain a lot of added sugar and corn syrup. For grains, I would prefer cooking oatmeal from scratch (which isn't hard). That way I can control how much milk, sugar, and salt goes into my food. As a general rule of thumb with any meal, make sure you have a balance of healthy fats, fiber, carbs, and protein. Since everyone has different nutritional requirements, it's hard to say how much of each food group you'll need, though consulting government guidelines is a good place to start.

    Light food is enough to start a day.Light Food in the sense Fruits/Vegetable salad and Fresh juices/Milk.If you ate junky food or some heavy foods make your day get spoiled and also its not good for your health too.

    A healthy breakfast is a well balanced meal. A cup of milk or tea, an egg, a slice of bread and a fruit. This will give you enough energy to start the day.

    The word "breakfast" comes from two words: 'break' and 'fast'. In other words, breakfast is a break from fasting. It's the most important meal of the day that people should be eating a nutritious meal such as those rich in protein, fiber and other important nutrients so that our body can keep up with the fast-pacing, energy consuming, strenuous day ahead. As a breakfast, works for me best is a combination of eggs (source of protein), milk (protein) and pineapple/apple (fiber). Don't forget 2 glasses of water (at least) before anything else!

    If you want healthy breakfast try to eat an organic egg, wheat bread with strawberry jam and 1 piece of banana every breakfast. It is reached in protein and helps your digestive system to be more active and functional it also gives you enough energy in a day. I ate this healthy breakfast every day as my daily routine. Make it a habit and you will feel the result after 3 days. Aside from the great feeling that you will be able to experience, it will also keep you in your best shape. Of course, you can eat comfort foods but that will be scheduled during the weekend.

    I think you are going good @Djbeckah. I start my day with an apple and a banana in my hand, followed by a glass of milk, and I must tell that I have not gotten sick for like 5 years. Touch-wood!:D Its a big number right? And yes, I avoid eating junk food and always prefer a healthy diet as far as possible. What about you? Tell me about your diet.
