I have had epilepsy for as long as I can remember. It seems to be misunderstood by many people, so I don't talk about it openly. It's frustrating because although I've had this disorder for years, I still have so many unanswered questions, and symptoms I don't think will ever go away. I'm allowed to, but many people with epilepsy are not allowed to drive, so it can greatly inhibit a persons quality of life. What's your experience?

My son has epilepsy for 27 years from the age of 16 until the age of forty three. His medication has been changed over the years while the grand mall have increased over time. My mother had the epilepsy when she was alive. My grandson has this too from the age of three years old.
I think this can pass from one generation to the next one. For now my son seems to be doing a lot better with the new medication.
