I have to say that I think walking has helped me keep a healthy lifestyle. Walking I believe, is the best exercise you can get. It can be very relaxing and if you speed walk, it can have the same benefits has running. I used to do parkour, but found that I can't physically handle it. I walk about two to three miles a day, when whether permits, and I burn a good many calories and strengthen my back and legs. I feel much better then when I use to do parkour because it doesn't put a strain on my body like hard exercise use to.

It was a serious step down from what I was use to but I feel like I'm much healthier now then before.

Parkour is cool! What made you step down from it?

In my case, walking is boring as a sports routine. It can be rather a meditation, though. I love to explore new cities I happen to visit. I cannot do it too long without a purpose. I can run for few hours, but walking? no thanks, haha.

Walking is a good habit. But for a lazy person like me, it looks like fighting at the border. When I was young, like 15-16 years old I always walked in the morning for more than a KM. But now, I get up from at 8 o clock in the morning.
