Old songs are awesome. The hits of the past are unmatched. Some old songs bring back good memories. If you didn't listen to the old song there is no way the joyful moments would have been remembered. Good music will always be made, even in the future. If we want to listen to a huge collection of music that fits our taste we will find ourselves listening to older music. I enjoy mixing old music with new ones for my playlists. It doesn't matter who the Artist or the age of the song, as long as it is an enjoyable mix. Hats off to all the dead legends.

I only listen to a few new songs, mostly those of Bazzi and Lany. Most of the songs on my playlist are from bands that started in the 2000's - screamo, indie, pop-punk, grunge, metal, alternative, etc. But my favorites are always the old songs, "Old but gold" as I always call them. Those type of songs have their own heart and soul.

Most of the new songs these days lack deep meaning and flair that the old ones did. It is very rare but few new songs are exceptionally catchy and hard to ignore. Old songs especially the classics are just a treat to listen to, music was raw and beautiful back then with not much technology involved. I may just be old fashioned but I would rather listen to old songs than new ones.

Sorry, I'm more into old school musik. 80's, 90's and 70's are the best. These days, there are hardly any instruments played and too much technology involved, and not enough heart put into the mainstream music. I love rock, pop, disco, hip-hop, soul and funk.

I also enjoy oriental pop songs from 2000's, but today's oriental pop is not my thing.

Honestly, both. Before, I used to play new songs only because as a teen I feel like old songs are outdated and not so cool but as I enter the age of 17, I slowly realized that old songs are still great and even better than the modern ones. I enjoy listening to new songs and old songs and it really depends on the mood I'm in. There were days that I only want to listen to old songs and vice versa.

It is really hard to choose because both music era have a special place in my heart.
