Nice one @jamesbuy1224, powerful points you have there. I'm currently gunning into the tech startup space and just like you've pointed out in your post, I believe a mentor has a big role to play in calibrating ones tempo, curbing impatience and helping you keep faith when nothing seems to be working.

But my trouble on this issue has always bothered on how one can locate such an individual in this present busy world.
