Bullying is very rampant in schools and most of the time nothing is done about it .Kids who suffer bullying go through psychological and physical damage and sometimes the effects are long lasting.

Kids who bully other kids are commonly from wealthy families who know no bounds with violence and therefore trample on those kids who are non violent and defenseless . Bullying is something that should not be tolerated by any school and there should be very Strick rules against this inhuman act.

Bullying is wherever. But mostly it happens at school. I don't know why students have to bully their schoolmates. It is so inhuman. Let's put our shoes on the victims. What would you feel if you're being bullied? Studies now shows that most of the victims tend to have depression. That's still not the worst scenario. There are still cases in which it will end on a suicidal act. Scary right? Your guilt and conscience now will be question. You will just wait when Karma will approached you. So beware guys!

Bullying in schools should be dealt with in a very strict manner . The schools or institutions with such cases should set punishments such expulsion and suspension to the culprits . By so doing , it will act as lesson to the rest

I agree with you. The effects of bullying can be serious and even fatal. Victims of bullying can suffer from long term emotional and behavioral problems. Preventing and stopping bullying involves a commitment to creating a safe environment where children can thrive, socially and academically, without being afraid.

Bullying in school is a very disgusting thing that affect negatively the students, the teachers and the parents.
If not controlled it leads to poor performance, poor health among the students and loss of time and resources.
Most schools are affected by this vice and it is a very challenging to contain especially when it becomes a norm or a tradition the school set up.

I would advise the the school management to team up with all stake holders in the education sector to stop this vice at the earliest stage. This is because at this time little effort and resources are needed to contain it.We have seen students lose their lives, school burnt which have resulted from this vice.

Bullying is one socialy un acceptable behaviour that realy should be done away with. In as much as school administrations have tried to come up with measures to help curb bullying, research indicates that it is still rampant in a majority of the schools, not only in Kenya but in schools the world over.
Bullying has detrimental impacts on the target learners. It leads to low self esteem and generally mkes the learner's ives in school a living hell, and it goes without saying that the affected learner's could carry the bullying effects even into there post school lives.
There is more that can still be done in order to eradicaate bullying from our schools completely. It might take time to eliminate bullying totaly, but eventually, with concerted efforts from the relevent education stake holders,it will be done away with.

Bullying is a major issue these days. Not that it is anything new. I think the way it is handled these days is different from what it used to be. Once upon a time, parents spanked their children for bad behavior. Also, there was a lot of encouragement to stand up to the bully and fight back, which could end up clearing you as a target in the bully's eyes.

These days, kids are not told to stand up for themselves, but to go to an adult for help. Yes, this does prevent violence on both sides, but it keeps the target a target. And with all of the rules about discipline when it comes to children that aren't yours, most times the schools are powerless to do anything effective to stop the bully in question. Most of the time it seems to end up in a scenario where the victim is brought in with their parent(s) and they are taught avoidance tactics. This does nothing to solve anything. The victim is singled out not only by the bully, but then also by those who are supposed to be there to help them.

I think that, despite only being children, if it is an issue that occurs more than a few times, the police should be involved in some manner. Perhaps they will start by sending the bully to a psychologist.

This world is too focused on victim blaming and not focused enough on punishing those who commit the crime.
