Can I lose weight by sweating?

    Since sweat is made mostly of water, it weighs alot. If you sweat enough, you will notice an immediate drop in weight because your body has lots of water. Many athletes (wrestling, use sweating as a way to quickly drop to elible to fight in a lighter weight class. This weight loss is temporary.;);)

    Exactly, sweating does not lose weight, it only causes water loss (weight loss is due to dehydration). It is clear that during intense physical activity, in which we sweat a lot, we lose weight, but this is because we burn fat. However, this does not mean that a person who is sweating more is burning more calories.
