Do you guys play dungeon crawler games?

Hi everyone!

What do you think of dungeon crawler games?
I am not talking about games similar to Diablo but games like the Legend Of GrimRock that is a grid based dungeon crawler. That is you walk in a grid and so are the monsters.

Grid based walking introduce a puzzle based chess like gameplay were a step either means you fall into a dark hole or it opens a hidden door.

Because of the limited movement in a grid based dungeon crawler the game designer has a much easier job to make the game look outstanding. Compared to games where you can walk freely you can't accidentally stand too close to an object, like a wall, and see the lack of texture resolution or graphic coverage.

I think these type of games are very lucrative for game developers. I for certain are constantly looking for new dungeon crawlers because it is so much fun to play them
