education reduces illiteracy but doesn't make one wise

Many people argue that those who are educated are also wise. In my opinion I tend to oppose such statements. We've had people who will not think outside the book and cannot even solve simple life problems.
What is your take?

 

Yes you are right. There are lots of people who are educated enough in general perspective, but are like idiots box. They are not practical. People who illiterate are much better than these guys. Illiterate people know how to deal with life and handle it properly. They are only lacking in reading and writing department. But education is must for everybody because many person who are educated are gift to our society. A developed society can not grow with no one is educated. There are professional to do certain types of jobs like doctors, engineers, lawyer,etc.
