This is a thread for all the lovers of the found footage horror!

I think that the genre (sub-genre?) is often treated too harshly since people go and compare found footage movies with big budget Hollywood blockbusters. Of course a movie made a hand-held camera and minimal resources won't reach the same production values and, probably, quality of acting, but that doesn't mean found footage can't be fun to watch!

One good 2016 example is: Blair Witch (link to IMDb)

... And I'll admit even I was somewhat skeptical about this one because sequels usually don't tend to be that great. But in this case, it's actually a great movie that stands on its own.

Any cool found footage movies you've seen lately?

Afflicted is hands down the best found footage horror film I have seen in years. The concept was great and it was very fast-paced.
