HIV cure.

    Do you think that before the 21st century HIV will have been eradicated, bearing in mind that more people are infected each day?

    Truth be told, this seems to be one of those lifetime illnesses that can be suppressed using drugs but can't be cured. Why? I think the disease has evolved over time. The fact that it disrupts the body's immunity makes it that much harder to treat as it involves curing a mileage of diseases as opposed to just one disease. So no, I don't believe it will have been eradicated.
