Is yoga exercise?

    Yoga is more of a spiritual and physical practice that does improve strength, balance and improve stress levels. Doing yoga 3 to 4 times a week for me which include the poses and breathing exercises. I do consider yoga to be a form of exercise.

    Yoga is a great exercise . It stretches and tones muscles, increases flexibility and promotes balance. In addition, yoga has beneficial effects on the nervous system, leading to deep relaxation and neutralizing stress.

    To me yoga is the best form of exercise it not only tones your body it tones your mind. Another added bonus to yoga is that it is low impact which for someone like me with arthritis it helps relieve stress on the joints.
