Money saving tips

I reckon it's a whole lot easier to save a pound than earn a pound, so I'm on a money-saving mission this year. I've recently switched suppliers of my electricity, house insurance and broadband, and I reckon I've saved myself some £40 a month at a stroke! Really, I had no idea that companies often charge their loyal customers more than new ones – what a cheek!

These changes only took me about an hour to arrange in total, so I just earned £40 an hour. Hurrah! Anyone else have any good tips to share?
