According to me all of us want to make healthy food choices. We try to read labels, and we do our best to listen to the food advice given by our scientists and government.

But there is so much conflicting information, it's hard to decide what to eat. Some say eat to lower carb intake, some say eat low fat foods instead, and the list goes on.

I believe the best way to make good food choices is to determine the “extent of processing” to which the food has been subjected. In other words, how far has the food changed from its raw state when you are ready to buy it?

The best foods will be the foods that are closest to their naturally raw state. The most unhealthy foods are the ones that are the most processed and which are farthest from the raw state at the time of purchase.

What's your opinion. Feel free to discuss.

    Regards,

Yeah, that's quite true. It also lies on how much did you consumed those foods you consider as healthy choice. It is advisable to take in adequate amount, not more not less. Even if it is a 'good'/'healthy' food, but you did consume in excessive amount, it will bring harm to your body. Likewise, when certain 'good'/'healthy' food is taken less than it should, it will lead to the same result. It is just a matter of short or long term that the effect can be seen.

Healthy food choices are foods that are alkaline on the pH scale. The body needs a pH of 7.1 and above to function well and get rid of diseases. Foods that are acidic deteriorates the body by creating a lot of mucous that causes organ damage.

Foods that are acidic are all those foods that are genetically modified, like hybrids, for example: Plantains, Seedless Grapes, Rice except Wild Rice, Wheat, Oats, etc. They lack the fundamental carbon and hydrogen structure and once that is lacking or messed with, these foods will cause problems in the body.
