A few years ago, the Church had really huge say in our country's political matters. Bishops and Sheikhs could influence voters to vote for a particular candidate, and sometimes, they could advise politicians on certain decisions.
Recently, though, religion's role in my country's politics has been dwindling. Bishops and Sheikhs can no longer influence voters or politicians.
Does religion have an important role in your country's politics? If not, why is religion's influence in your country's politics declining?
