Maybe someone is hiding time travel from us?

According to Einstien, if you were to travel forward or backward in time, you must rotate around the earth at the speed of light. This is literally impossible to reach and any attempt to reach such speeds will not only fail but also damage our planet. Imagine being hit by something travelling at around 300ooo Kilometres.

The second method is also not easy to achieve as it involves the creation of negative energy particles. Thes particles are extremely unstable and also highly powerful. Creating something of that sort is not only impossible but also unmanageable. We simply don't have the energy to initiate the creation of a negative particle.

If we were to think that both these concepts were brought to life, we still have to wait for the actually happen and only then can we expect time travelers to come back in time.

Time travel to the future is mathematically proven by Albert Einstein. He stated that if you travel near the speed of light, space-time stretches itself and time runs slowly. Therefore, 1 hour of journey near the speed of light will be equal to one year of time on earth. This has not been practically proven because we don't have any vehicle that can run that much fast. There is another way to time travel into the future. Einstein proved that the mass of the object effects the time-flow around it. So, mass is inversely proportional to time. We need to travel around large objects like Black Holes. This will slow the time near black holes and time for the passengers moving around the Black Hole will be slower than here on the Earth. Calculations say that one hour of time spend near the Black Hole is equal to seven weeks spend on earth. However, time travel to the past is impossible.

Well, the basic rule of time travel is to NOT get attention to yourself while you are traveling in time, so technically, time travel may have been invented, but the users who travel back and forth are incredibly careful not to be seen or noticed by the present day people, that they move easily within time zones with absolutely no problems at all. Interestingly enough, if time travel DOES exist, great calamities and disasters may be avoided - if the time travelers want to help. They could save hundreds of thousands of lives if they wanted to, but they don't. That leaves two options, either time travel does not exist, and there is no way for us to travel back and forth in time to warn of certain perilous events; or time travel exists, but the time travelers do not care what happens to our present world, since it already happened in their future. Either way, the explanation isn't any good, either it's impossible, or they just don't care about us here in the present.

As Sangita said, it is possible to travel to the future and it happens when you reach high speed in space. It is just not enough to make a big difference. As for traveling back in time, one would have to surpass the light speed, which is not possible for the foreseeable future. Of course, it is just a theory based on the relativity equations.

The concept of time travelling just seems a fiction to me.

Time travelling means going in the past or future of Earth which could mean the repetition of the same situations, people, or simply earth repeating all its stories again and again. Even if we some how manage to travel with the speed of light I wonder if we can reach the same place we traveled from having people of future with a lot of scientific developments and a lot of robots as we imagine it to be.

Would anyone say people who have prophetic dreams of the future have traveled through time? I mean how else can someone know what will happen and describe it unless they actually did some time traveling?

It sounds crazy but I do believe that mystics are capable of time travel. Science does say mystics are charlatans so there's that complication. If only they could work together, the secrets of the universe that could be unlocked . . .

On reading the posts here in this thread it seems that to succeed at travelling in time, we need to travel through space to do it. What is the point of travelling through space? We would need to come down to earth at some point. If there are time travellers, and obviously we don't know for sure that there are any, maybe it is because they are all in space.

Again, if time travel did exist, our Governments would not let us know about it and keep us in the dark as of course, we would all want to try it for ourselves.
