"MEMBERS WHO POST ONLY THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF POINTS PER DAY WILL BE BANNED AND GET BAD RATING."

If it means you should make unpaid posts, that is not a reasonable rule.

Yeah, that is not reasonable at all. I'll contact the site owner about that. If anyone gets a bad rating for not posting over the daily limit then definitely let me know and I'll remove it.

This is certainly not the first time we talk about this peculiar 'rule'. I pretty much hold what I've said in the other thread. I think they shouldn't be allowed to threaten our rating like that, especially if they to pay minimal (1 post) and yet expect people to post (double or more for free) 2+.

I don't see the forum anymore. I suppose that had to do with contacting the owners about it.

Yeah I'm not sure. The owner explained that they were trying to communicate that they do not want low quality, spammy posts from people who are just doing the bare minimum. I asked that they revise the rule so that it states this more clearly and confusion is avoided. I'm not sure why the site was disabled but that may have had something to do with it. Either way, it definitely needs to be changed because that's not really acceptable.

See I've also posted about this before as well, and I don't understand what the forum owners are looking to achieve by making rules like that up. I do understand that if they are new to TFW then they are going to want to make sure that the service is firstly what they want, and then they'll want to make sure that the content they get from here is acceptable, but surely asking people to effectively work for free isn't the right way to go about it.

Why not set the post limit to 3 or 5, and then manually approve content like some other sites do? Once a member as made a certain number of posts and they know that they are going to get worthwhile content then they can stay at that level, other members may be removed or set at different levels depending on how good they are. This of course takes more time and effort from the forum owner, and they aren't prepared to do that, but they think it's ok to ask us to waste our time and effort making posts that we aren't getting credited for. It's got to work both ways.

One of the forums did perfectly by first approving posts then removing approval time when he was content with the quality. That's how you do it.

The forum owner has listed on the rules only loyal members, and those who only post the paid limit are not loyal? So the rules are still confusing, as I understand posting just once per day (the paid amount) is not what that forum owner wants. @Rahstyles?

If he only wants people who post over the daily limit, then it sounds like he doesn't want most writers. Unless I really liked the forum, I wouldn't want to post over the daily limit. If the admin is going to require an unreasonable standard then avoiding the site is probably best. The free market tends to work things out. If everyone leaves the site then he'll be forced to either give up on paid posting or change the rules to a more reasonable standard.

Yeah, maybe we are better of the forum than risking a low rating.

If anyone gets a low rating because of this, just let me know and I'll reverse it.

Not much really haha. It's just a built in feature that comes with XenForo.
