I just developing a new feature on the "Members" page that displays a list of all the members currently online.

When a user logs out it automatically kills their online status. If the user doesn't not log out then the login status will timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity. So the list shows everyone who was online within the past half hour.

Let me know if you have any questions or input.

The software for the main site was designed by myself. The Gateway and Community forums are running XenForo.

Okay. I've not used XenForo so was not sure - "Who is Online" is a feature of phpBB basic package, so was curious.

    Regards,

XenForo already has that feature by default. The new "Online Now" feature that I developed the other day was for the main site which was created by myself. You can view the new feature in the Members area.

    Thanks Ken, got it now!

It looks great - is it all in C#, as I've read in one of your posts somewhere?

Thanks! The back-end is powered by PHP & Javascript while the front-end runs on HTML & CSS.

I don't have something to compare it with but the current presentation of it looks good. Possibly, we can provide the functionality to hide/show it too. (Well, as an end user one never gets satisfied... :))
