how do i report or block inappropriate PMs?

    I prefer not to have strange people hitting on me via PM. He said he decided to after seeing my profile. I don't even remember filling out a profile on here. It's creepy.

    There has been a recent epidemic of spam bots mass messaging people via our system.

    We just finished designing a security feature to help stop this. From now on email activation will be required before a user is allowed to send PMs.

    That should stop the bots.

    That is really a very intelligent system in place to keep the bots at bay. Thanks for taking timely remedial action which would be beneficial for the community as a whole.

    I do appreciate this move. This is indeed an excellent measure to control the proliferation of dubious PMs from a suspicious members who will take advantage of the system. :D
