My rating didn't improve after getting a new rating

Please I would like to know the reason why my rating didn't improve after getting a new rating.

My initial rating is 3.8 and I got a new rating of 4.1 but still my rating is still stuck at 3.8.

What could be the reason for this?

Please help me fix this because I really need my current rating to improve after getting the 4.1 new rating from a new forum.

Hello Heatman,

The reason your rating did not increase is because the average rating didn't change. On the rating section, look at the ratings highlighted in yellow. Those are actively contributing to your rating. Calculate the average rating and confirm if it is higher than 3.8, even with your new rating of 4.1.

 

Here is the rating, kindly help me and do the calculations and let me know while I still wait for @KenBrace response.

That's not what I meant. I am sure you have received several ratings from various forums. Add them up and divide by the number of ratings.

 

In my case, I've got to add all those ratings and divide by 8.
