We don't currently have plans to support those platforms but if you'd like to request it then we'll begin work as soon as possible.

Just let us know your situation and what you need.

I've been testing some of these forums, and they look interesting. But I'm don't have anything going worth asking you to work on it, not just for me at least.

I understand. Well we will definitely considering adding support for those platforms as well as a few others on our list. Thank you for the suggestion.

I would like to butt in for I don't understand on what kind of support does @fmoliveira is trying to imply for I don't have the knowledge about NodeBB, Flarum and/or Discourse. Is that a programming terms?

That's a list of forum software packages (like XenForo, vBulletin, IPBoard, etc.).

Are they functioning like a webhosting? I find them interesting for I have the inclination to have a forum of my own if I know the mechanics especially how to fund it and in return I am also earning a penny. Soon I will be needing your help for this matter.

To work with theforumwheel, a forum software needs a plugin or modification, and theforumwheel itself probably need to make some changes too.

I was mentioning whatever bot theforumwheel uses to count posts made by users and update the credits. What would you need to work with something like Flarum or NodeBB? I think Flarum is the low hanging fruit, as it is based on PHP (but it's also beta, and not recommended by it's developers to be used in production).

We don't use a bot. Our system requests a post count of all the writers who have subscribed to a particular site and then the script installed on that site responds with answers. We take those answers and then update the system and award any credits earned. This is done via a cron job that runs every few minutes.

So, if I adapt thepostwheel.php to flarum or any other forum package, I can make it work with the forumwheel? Is it worth a few credits? :p

We would have to develop a script for that particular software package. Using the file designed for XenForo or vBulletin5 won't work on Flarum because the database structure and connection files are different.

I adjusted the queries in the script for Flarum, and I'm running a test now. I put a large "TEST" in the title, and a warning for any user that post there to check if their credits are being updated.

Looks like it worked great. I'll see about adding it to our supported list.
