I live in Houston, Texas, so the weather is usually quite warm and humid. It can also be very volatile, where it's cold and raining in the morning and sunny and burning hot later on in the afternoon. Obviously we don't receive much snow, and we also don't experience tornadoes or earthquakes. Houston does occasionally face a hurricane and experiences flooding every now and then, but the city can handle that.

This forum is probably a diverse place with members from all over, so how's the weather where you live? Do you like it?

I live in Eastern Canada so the temperatures are starting to get cooler now. You can definitely feel the fall in the air. The days are usually quite warm but you need a sweater or jacket if you go out in the evenings. The leaves on the trees are starting to change colors and fall off. Our summer season is very short here. We had a beautiful month of August but the rest of the summer was wet and cool.

Howdy Houston (Lived in San Antonio, Texas, so I know your weather)

Live now in Germany. The weather here is pretty good for the time of the year. It was even warm for the summer. 35 degree Celsius (About 95 Fahrenheit) is pretty hot for Germany. Special if there is no air conditioner.
But compere to Texas we can not complain :)

I am in Kansas and here it's been cool in the mornings and warm in the afternoon. The kids wear a hoodie to school and they are sweating by the time I pick them up. I am definitely ready for the highs to cool just a bit

I like in south Georgia (America). The weather here is very humid, yet the temperature has been at a pleasant 70-80 degrees. It would be nice out since the temperature has dropped, but the humidity cancels that out. We get this light breeze which is nice, at least.

I live in West Virginia. The weather here this last week has been cool and rainy. Today,it was sunny and 65 degrees,it would have been a nice day,but it was very windy. Unfortunately, it will soon be snowing here. I can deal with the cold but I do not like the snow.

I live in sunny California. Whoever created that term surely hit bullseye. I really love the outdoors so this weather is superb for me. I love being at the beach, or when I'm home I may be gardening our lawn or maybe in our backyard taking care of fruit trees. I also enjoy fishing and hunting small game birds. With all these activities our sunny weather is just perfect. When I'm not so busy in action, I like to just get a good view of an amazing sunset, and we get great ones out west.

I live in south India and the weather is tropical here. While the winter doesn't get too harsh summer is really tough to bear, with the temperature crossing 40 degrees Celsius. Right after the summer the rains provide a relief for about a month.

I live in the Philippines, it is a nice tropical country located in Southeast Asia. We only have two kinds of weather to enjoy, the summer and raining seasons. Most of the time, the weather is hot especially during the month of January to May. It will become raining during June to December.

I live in Mississippi and today it's quite warm, around 90 F, I think. It's supposed to cool off this weekend to around 70-75 F. I am so ready for it to feel like fall here. It still feels like the beginning of summer. We have fairly mild weather and if it gets below 50, that's what we call cold.

I live in Chennai, India. It's almost always sizzling hot here. In fact, Chennai is known to for its over 8 months of summer, with temperatures regularly over 100 F. It is also a very humid place, and people keep sweating all the time. My city sells hundreds of air-conditioner units every summer, which is, technically speaking, between April and June.

Just for now, I am enjoying a respite from the incessant heat.

Guess how? It's 4 in the morning!

Phoenix, AZ for me. The Sonoran desert is brutal during the summer with very high temperatures reaching up to 117 degrees F during the day, and nights where temps don't fall below mid 90's. The hottest day on record was 122 degrees F. I didn't live here then!

It's hot, like sticking your head in a hot oven. Humid and really dangerous to be outside for long periods of time. You need to drink a LOT of water! Almost impossible to be without air conditioning... although I have been able to keep my thermostat set at 85 degrees F during the day. At night, I'll keep it around 75 - 79 degrees F.

But... the rest of the year it's one of the loveliest places on the planet. We have people who come here from cold climates during our winter. We call them 'snow birds'. It might get down to freezing temps at night a few times during December or January, but it soon warms up when the sun comes out.

I moved to Phoenix on February 2nd, leaving a cold eastern city on a day when the temperature was mild and the day was nice and sunny... no coat needed. Arrived in Phoenix several hours later and believe it or not, it was snowing! We rarely get snow, so this was very odd to say the least.

I live in the Philippines where there's always storm brewing for more than half of the year. And then it's scorching hot for the remaining months. Although during the months of November to January, we have quite the perfect weather. It’s sunny, but it’s not extremely hot. The temperature is just right, perfect for long walks outside.

I live in sunny Malaysia, so the weather's usually on the hot side. We do have rain sometimes, but it's more like 70% sun and 30% rain. Our temperature ranges between 33 to 40c. Yes, it's that bad. :D

For some reason, we have rainy weather between the months of November and December. It's strange because we don't have seasons here. We don't have "Spring", "Summer", "Autumn" or "Winter" here. I've always wished we had seasons here. I love the beauty of Spring and Autumn very much. I feel like people who have seasons, don't always know how to treasure them properly.

We do have colder climates, like "Genting" and "Fraser's Hill". They're up in the mountains, so it's always cold there. I'm not trying to promote my country. Promise. :p

    Hi Zeuvx! A fellow Houstonian!
Yes, our weather is very nice today, 81°. A few days ago it was very wet however, but hey, that's Houston weather for you. I know it's probably hoping too much for I really wish this year we'd actually have Thanksgiving and Christmas type weather- you know, snow, cold, maybe a little 'hawk'. I see people walking around in shorts and flip flops for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I must say- it put quite a damper on my spirits.

I live in French Polynesia Tahiti. This is a series of small islands in the South Pacific. The islands are tropical so we basically only have two seasons a year. What we consider our winter months is our dry season. The summer months are our wet season. The average temperature year round is 75 to 85 degrees. During the summer months we have a lot of humidity.

I live in Mauritius, in the central plateau. There can be sudden rain anytime, therefore you need to carry an umbrella, even if the sun is shining. The best region for me is the West coast, on a beach called Flic-en-Flac. There at least, there's almost always a perfect blue sky. Like Poehere's island, we also have only two seasons.

I live in South Africa and most of the time it's sunny and warm but lately it is extremely cold. I cannot tolerate the cold simply because I'm not used to it, our cold season usually starts at the end of May and ends in August but it seems like it came early this year.
The cold is so brutal to me that I have to wear a hoodie even before winter begins and from what I'm seeing I am not the only one who cannot stand this sudden change of the season, everyone in my neighborhood has remained in doors for the last two days which is strange as it is usually buzzing with activity.

I hope that I can still enjoy some sunny days before winter comes in full force.
