My favorite sport is football because it is a sport that requires concentration, coordination, stamina, skill and excellent teamwork ethic to be very good at it. I love watching the Barclays English Premier League because it is a very entertaining and unpredictable league and the pace and the intensity at which the players perform at is very eye-catching. What is your favorite sport and why?

I enjoy basketball because even though it's a team game, you can take over the game at any point. What I mean by that is in American football if I'm down by 3 I can't do everything by myself to win. But in basketball you can win the game by yourself if you are down by 8 points. It also requires good concentration, stamina and the ability to work with others.

It would be powerlifting and olympic lifting. You build muscle and strength that is functional. You have to incorporate core excercises too. When you really get into it you learn a lot about human anatomy and nutrition. It's not just a sport since it becomes a lifestyle. Every meal, every workout counts. You become addicted when you see results.

I am a soccer fan but I'm always thrilled by the perseverance exercised in rugby.

My favorite sports is bodybuilding. I like it as it is a healthy game and it has motivation to look fit. I feel great if stay in good body shape. I never participated in any bodybuilding competition but i feel good to keep doing it. I was too skinny a year ago then i decided to start gym for weight and muscles gain. After a year when i saw myself in the mirror then i was really very happy to see the result for the efforts i made. It takes time and the sacrifice. This is the only game that involves your 24 hrs routine including workout, diet, and rest. A person stays on a specific workout and diet with required time of rest hrs.

Like BigSojah, my favorite sport is also basketball. I started playing when I was 7 years old and I still play pick up games every now and then. I like the game because players get to show off their individual skills while uplifting their team as a whole (if they are good sportsmen). It is also more up tempo than some other sports and the dunking and high flying athleticism is always fun to watch. I can't dunk, but I do have a sweet jump shop.

My favorite game is Chess. It is the most fundamental to use the tactics played in Chess to wage wars. It requires pre-planning and concentration to defeat your enemy in both Chess and war. Vishwanathan Anand is my favorite Chess Player.

    Soccer/Football.
For many it will be just and only a sport, but for me it is the best of both worlds. It is obviously a sport in which we are sometimes gifted by true artists. The spectacle that is a football game can be good, reasonable or sometimes bad. Well then, it's just as it is in the arts. A movie can be good or bad, just like the actors who participate in it. A ballet can be excellent or mediocre, depending on the quality of the dancers. There are concerts that are worth going to and others that do not even tassel.
Football is sport, art and culture, so beats right.
Let us see: football, as we know, is played with all parts of the body except the arms and hands (obviously excluding the goalkeepers). What is required of a person playing a sport in which a round (and therefore unstable, sometimes unpredictable) object must be moved and inserted into a goal of 7.32mx2.44m, kept by an individual who can avoid with any part of your body that said object goes beyond a line joining the posts of the respective beacon ?! Technique, skill and creativity! So this is not art !?
Try to ask someone who has never played football to dominate a long-distance ball, shoot a goal, head or make a simple 2-meter pass to see if you do not need all the requirements that the word "art" means. That's why football is the most difficult sport. One is asked to do with other parts of the body what seems easy to do with the hands. This may help explain why soccer is the "sport king", a true phenomenon of masses and consequently the most viewed and practiced art in the world!

My favorite sport is Ice hockey. The reason I like Ice hockey is because it is very fast paced and it requires a lot of quick reflexes. Hockey takes a lot of skill and strength to play. It is also very entertaining to watch.

Too me there's nothing better than skateboarding. Not saying I'm incredibly good at it but its almost like an art form and less of sport. Its incredible to watch and the level of skill has done nothing but go up ever since its started. Too me it's one of the hardest sports.

You can't be out of shape and skateboard it just doesn't work. And skateboarding isn't standing on the street corner doing a kickflip every once in awhile, I mean really hitting the pavement and skating everything you come across. No plaza, pool, curb or handrail is safe.

There really isn't anything more relaxing then putting on the headphones and hitting the street for a whole day of skateboarding

My favorite sport is volleyball because it is easier to play and adapt to. It only requires you to be a little bit energized, focused and self motivated. Apart from that, it is enthralling and so jovial to take part. My proficiency in this sport has garnered me lots of trophies and awards to be proud of for the rest of my life.

It has to be soccer. It is fascinating to watch and easy to play. What with the unifying factor that goes along with it?.I love watching those great men and women run around the pitch in an attempt to outdo each other, and what's more? the game has very simple rules

I would have to say basketball. I grew up playing in my local recreational center for fun. My mom, however, took basketball all the way to high school level. I don't play as much anymore as my interest changed a while ago. However, I do love watching NBA, college and high school ball. My favorite NBA team is the Lakers. For college, UCLA is the way to go! Chino Hills is my favorite high school team as they've dominated over the past couple of years.

Yeah, just like what many above are saying: FOOTBALL!

Football to me is more than a sport - it's a superb experience that has been able to bring everyone together (blacks, whites, Europeans, Americans, etc)

    So to me, football.

Mixed Martial Arts is simply the best sport there is. I like the violence, and in some cases, the drama. Even the female fighters put up a great show. My favourite fighter is Connor McGregor. I like his charisma and cockiness.

My favourite sport is football. This is, simply, because, football is a meritocracy, which teaches us that race does not matter. Football teaches us how to tackle the game of life with patience, strategy, team work and diligence.
However, in the social aspect, football provides a way to bond with family and friends and with fans as you shout cheers of joy, shed tears of sorrow, and scream in frustration together.
