While growing up, riding a bike was such a dream that I had to learn riding a bicycle in an unconventional manner, while I waited for an opportunity to own one.

When I say "unconventional means," I mean learning riding first, with a faulty and stationary bicycle before I had the opportunity to ride that of one of my childhood friends. And I would recommend such a formula to a rookie.

Now, how did you learn yours.

I agree learning how to ride a bike in an unconventional way is the best way to learn.

I was 10 years old when I first learnt how to ride a bike. I was taught using a saddles bicycle and it was the best experience ever despite the pain I experienced.

I experience many struggle learning to ride a bike. I always dream when I was a kid that I wish I can ride a bike and go travel around my place, but as a kid, I'm jealous of other kid because they can ride bikes easily without a problem. I always try to ride a bike, but I can't properly ride it and always falling from it that cause scratches in my elbows and knee. However, I never give up and try it again and again until I succeed it.

This experience was very memorable for me because it gives me a lot of fun and I enjoy riding it for the first time that I successfully ride it properly. I was so happy on that day because I achieve my goal to ride a bike.

Learning how to ride a bike is one of my best childhood memories. I never owned a bike, so I used my neighbor's bike. It was a fun experience despite numerous falls and minor injuries.

I think learning to ride a bike in my childhood is not only one of my favorite memories, but also it is the first time I remember feeling free. My dad taught me when I was about five or six. I was a stubborn child so I wouldn't let him help me much. It actually scared me more when he would try to help by holding on to the back of the seat while pushing me forward. Once he finally let go, and I felt the wind in my hair and the freedom to go where I wanted and stay out as long as I wanted, I was hooked. I would be on that bike for hours, all summer long. Then I got older and started doing more daring things on my bike to impress boys... which led to lots of bikes wrecks, bruises, and scars. It was all completely worth it!!
