How do you stay fit without exercise?

    It might sound impossible but one can actually stay fit without going to the gymnasium. It takes simple baby steps for one to actually achieve this .Like for example instead of using the elevator one can use the stairs.Another way of staying fit with going to the gymnasium is walking or using your biking .Biking or walking burn a lot of calories than driving your car.

    Go shopping and carry the bags
    Drink plenty of water
    Eat well
    Sleep well
    Manage stress
    Play with the children (running, jumping, etc do what the kids do and enjoy your time with them!)
    Get some moderate sunshine (vitamin D)
    Deal with negative emotions (anger, unforgiveness, regret etc)
    Smile and enjoy life!


    No amount of exercising is going to make you fit if you are stressed, tired, emotionally challenged and dehydrated. In these circumstances, exercise can actually make things worse!

    Fitness does not require gymnasium at all! One can actually keep fit by some simple habits like; drinking plenty of water, eating food that contains less calories after 7pm, using the stairway instead of the elevator, using the long way to go to the restroom, avoiding deliveries instead go to the grocery store, resisting pastries, doing household chores like cleaning the house and avoiding stress!

    The truth is, you cannot be fit without doing an exercise, because you need to burn the fats and calories, you need to sweat it out in order to stay fit. But there is a lot of simple and easy way to stay fit without going to a Gym. For example, if your job is not far away from your home, it is better to do a simple walked rather than driving a car. In that way, you already burn your calories before you even start your job. Another example is when you watering your plants. Instead of using a Garden Hose, try to use a Water Bucket. It is better than using a Garden Hose. You not only conserving water but you also doing exercise by lifting a bucket of water. You can also use a Grocery Basket instead of using a Pushcart. For me, it is more practical doing all ordinary things like these that I regularly do, rather than going to a Gym and spend my money. In my opinion, you really cannot be fit without burning your fats and calories and doing a proper healthy diet. Get a good night sleep, stop eating fatty foods and eat vegetables and fruits. Avoid drinking Alcohol, stop smoking and stay away from drugs.

    You can stay in shape without going to the gym. The key is to do at least one of these two things:

    1) Finding an exercise you enjoy doing so you will continue doing it because you like it. For me, it's bicycling as it's fun to explore the world and get a workout at the same time.

    2) Integrating exercise into your daily routine. Maybe use an active form of transportation if it's possible, like biking or walking to work instead of driving if it's not too far. You could also park in the far side of the parking lot when you go shopping or park anywhere else so you have to walk a bit more.

    Well I try my best to eat healthy and drink a lot of water. I love fruits and vegetables, so that helps me a lot. Instead of grabing a bag of hot cheetos I rather eat cucumbers with tajin. If you do not excrcise I suggest eating healthy because if you are not excercising, an d on top of that eating unhealthy, you will have a hard time staying fit.
    Excercising could also be a lot of things, like taking the stairs instead of the elavator, walking over driving when something is close and etc. You could honestly stay fit easily by just moving around more instead of being stuck in one place.

    Thank you.You have given a full summary of how to stay healthy without hitting the gym.There are factors like nutrition that actually contribute to the healthy if the body.Eating well well help the body reduce the intake of toxins and fats hat are the big reason for work out.A daily walk can do a lot of good to the body.

    I think this is a great start, but I also think that adding things to this list would be beneficial. For example; housework (scrubbing, moving furniture, yard work etc.), ride your bike places instead of driving (also saves money), sit down a lot less, track your nutrients so you know you're getting everything you need and not eating what I'd call poison.

    But to address the original question, honestly, I think you should just exercise! I can be an awesome experience and seeing yourself improve (which you will, it just takes time and persistence), is one of the most gratifying feelings there is. Don't knock it till you try it.

    The main ingredient is diet. If you eat healthy then there's no way you going to get unfit. However, it is better to live an active lifestyle and one should try to exersise at least twice a week.
