I remember enjoying History and Biology a lot. A lot of my classmates hated these subjects because they were forced to memorize lines of text. I'm not necessarily good with remembering. Rather, I like relating one concept or event to another. From there, I kind of learned that relying solely on the content provided by the instructor is dangerous. There were many times when I encountered a teacher treating popular opinion as fact. What are little children left to do but simply take what's there?

History was my favorite subject in school. I loved listening to the stories about historical figures and how they shaped our country's history. I always had a great memory when it came to historical facts and so the subject came easy to me.

I do agree with you. History is a great teacher of life. It is a never ending circle. Everything that once was it will happen again. I had a great teacher and i will always remember lessons from school.

I am sorry you had such a bad teachers. I had a luck that my father was a biology professor. So for the every new lesson at school i had to do my own search from the books, and learn new things that way. Not from school books. It was fun way to learn.

I'm in school now (sadly) and my favorite subject by a mile is History. It's so interesting to learn about the world, it's made even better by learning about my favorite parts like the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust. Next year we start learning about the Soviet Union and the Cold War. I can't wait to get stuck in and start learning about it.

English was, by far, one of my favourite subjects. I think it all stemmed from my love for reading. I loved reading both fictional and non-fictional books because I felt they could transport me to different worlds and it was just all so fascinating. Writing short stories was one of the most enjoyable parts of English when I was in high school. Essay writing is a bit tedious but I think that once one gets the hang of it, it doesn't become too difficult.

Although I received fairly bad grades in history, I really enjoyed it. I think it's just the interesting nature of the content we were taught. Topics ranged from Australian colonisation all the way to the French Revolution. It was amazing to see how people lived in the past and how different their lives are to ours.

I thought mathematics and chemistry were interesting at times but I wouldn't deem them my favourite subjects. I just wasn't mathematically minded.

I really loved English in school. I fell in love with learning about poems, short stories and plays. It also helped having fabulous teachers to teach these subjects. I have very thankful that I did have good teachers that helped me appreciate this subject.

Umm, skipping. Does skipping school count as a subject?
    :p
Honestly, I was so disinterested in school as a kid that I didn't like ANY subjects. I just wanted out.
I did enjoy some of the classes I took in college. Mostly Psychology 101 and 1010 and Public Speaking. I had wonderful and fun teachers for those classes that made learning very fun. I suppose it was different from high school as well because I was actually paying to be there and wanting to learn.

I never liked school because I always found it to be boring and uninteresting. I remember that my teachers would always yell at me, when I would talk to my friends during their lessons. The only subject that I always liked and was always really good at was gym class. Isn't that funny? Looking back, I was always the class clown, I should have focused more on studies and less on entertaining my class mates. Oh well, "C'est La Vie"

I was a history buff since I enjoyed reading about world history as well as current events. I also had a good grasp of the English language, particularly when it comes to grammar. I'll admit though that I am stumped by poetry and short stories, and it will take me some time before I learn to appreciate them. One story which comes to mind is In a Grove by Ryunosuke Akutagawa, a story about telling the truth from multiple points of view, just like in a prism. I first studied this during my Humanities class in college, and back then I didn't know how to approach the story. Coincidentally, In a Grove, together with the movie Vantage Point, have been inspired by Akira Kurosawa's classic Rashomon.

My favorite subject in school was History. I like reading about history on my own time to know about our past world and the wars. It was really very interesting to know about the legends who had very big dreams to rule the world.

I enjoyed History in school. History is one of the most interesting subjects that can be studied in school I think. I also enjoyed English, when it involved literature. I loved reading when I was in elementary school. I have gone to college and have found many of the subjects I studied in college to be interesting, and something I would not know or understand through normal reading and every day life. My favorite subject while attending post secondary school was Psychology. I am extremely interested in the inner workings of the human mind, and what develops personality.

When I was in high school, Math was my favorite subject but it all changed when I had a teacher who doesn't know how to teach. I mean, it's very obvious that she's not happy doing it. So when I entered college, I started to understand and love accounting. That's why I'm taking Business Administration Major in Management Accounting. Such subject requires an individual to be a hard working student and at least have basic knowledge in the field of Mathematics. Accounting is just simply an art of recording, classifying, and summarizing a money involve transaction.

Since I was young I really love Mathematics because I love numbers. Mathematics makes my brain smarter it challenge me a lot. Mathematics is easy to solve a problem because it has a formula than creating a paragraph in our English subject.

I like Science and English. Science subject first because of the discoveries that really amazed me specially Technology and Biology Science. My second favorite subject is English Class, I like it because I can learn and enhance my English skills like my grammar, vocabulary and spelling. I hate is the Math subject though I love geometry but the trigonometry and Advance Algebra really made me sick. :p

In the Initial parts of growing up years I really hated my studies. It was simply a compulsion, and as obvious, none of the subjects were my favorite.

Later, I gradually started liking mathematics and physics. We had a nice teacher at school. His super guidance made me relate these subjects with the real world. I developed so much interest in mathematics that I ended up taking my graduation in engineering.

There was another subject I was fond of, and that is biology. Knowing the details of all the parts of the human body was a fun. A subject I found amazingly interesting for knowing my own system.

In fact, most of the subjects are fascinating in some way or other, a truth I realized much later when there was no pressure to perform.

History was my favorite subject. Always loved knowing about the historic characters, places, kings, queens. Even languages interested me a lot. Something new to learn was always which I looked forward.

It's a long time since I was at school and I didn't start to enjoy it until the last year or two when most of the timewasters left. In those days we could leave at the age of 15. I was good at English and French but hopeless at Maths. I was extremely afraid of our Maths teacher and used to feel physically sick before lessons.

English always has and always will be my first love and I can't imagine not being able to use it in my every day life.

I really enjoyed English while I was in High School. We had an entire year of dystopian fiction which was very interesting and entertaining. This was before "The Hunger Games" was release and nobody was obsessed with dystopian fiction. It made for great class discussions and analytical essays.

I also enjoy theater because it was fun and where I met most of my friends. We also took many field trips to watch plays and got out of class often.
