Faith. Only one word but has a very deep meaning. It is something that cannot be described by reasoning alone. Faith has a different meaning from diverse people. But I think everyone will agree if I say that the meaning of faith is belief. Religious and non-religious people have something that they believe in. As for me, I believe in God. For some people, it can be money, gods, goddesses, education, and power. George W. Forell states that "Faith is universal." It means everyone has something or someone they believe in.

You, what do you believe in?

I like to think of faith as religion, even though many people look at that word and see it differently. I was raised in a Christian household, but being religious did not occur to my family till faced a complication. Growing up it did not make sense that my family only chose to go to church during New Years, Easter or any immense drawback. In church I learned that Faith is something that is either 100% or nothing at all. You have to put complete trust into the system for it to succeed!

I believe in faith. I also believe in science. I believe that truth can be found through observation, measurement, and experiment, and in the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses. But I also believe that there are realities that fall outside of these boundaries. And to believe in them with vigor and fortitude requires faith.

Strict scientific evaluation cannot explain the mystery of faith. And that’s okay. It is, however, important to leave science to science and faith to faith. I do not want science to explain my faith and I do not want my faith to explain science. But in order for me to have a full life, it is important to believe in these two separate but equally important things.

i read your message and i want to add some thing in it with kind permission
faith is a thing upon which all the whole universe is setup. every body and every religion has some faith and the people act upon as of their faiths
But the reality is that God is present and this is a faith and at this faith maximum religions are setup. we see that every person worship to God in his own way of worship but he knows that there is a God that is the creature of every thin. Although he had not seen God but he believes that God is present . He try to do good deeds and keep him self in the boundary of humanity and kindness.

Simply, I believe in God! I can scream it from the mountaintops or whisper it to the person next to me, but it won't change. I can say that I've always believed in God, but I'm one of those that was raised by her grandmother and grandma was an avid church goer! Even though there are so many that don't share my beliefs, I can appreciate what was instilled in me. I believe that no matter what I'm feeling/going through, or if I can articulate it or not, God knows! He knows and because of Him, it will be better. I never know how, but I have faith that it will be better and He hasn't failed me yet.

We all have faith in something. Even the most skeptical person in this world believes in something. When we consider the term faith, the common mind goes straight to the belief of god but 'faith' has a much broader meaning. It can be the faith of trusting that the nature of all living beings is inherently good or that life will provide our needs for tomorrow without wasting our present moment in useless worrying.

I do believe in many things. One of them is the law of cause and effect. Every action has got a consequence and every intention will condition the action. You don't have to be religious to see it.

Faith for me is the substance of things that you hope for. And believing of things not seen.

Faith can only come from a new heart, regenerated by God; therefore, faith is a gift from God. It is the unique way that God uses to bring salvation to his people. We strengthen our faith by reading the Bible and hearing the gospel. The more we immerse ourselves in truth, the more our confidence grows. Everyone who is saved has been gifted faith. It is the ability to believe God is who He says He is, trusting Him in all things for all things. Faith also helps to combat unbelief and motivates us to do what God desires us to do. Not only do we grow our faith by reading Scripture and praying in our own time, but also by hearing the message in church with other believers.
