    I once picked up a girl, she seemed like a nice girl to me, we started talking about life and stuff and eventually got drunk together at the local bar, it was very fun.

    Life is full of many different experiences to be had, but personally, I would usually avoid picking up hitchhikers. This is mainly because of the fact that they are an unknown variable, or a "wild card". You simply do not know what their temperament is like or what they are carrying with them. Sure, there could be times where it is a good thing but I like to play it safe. This way of acting hasn't led me astray yet, so I plan to stick with it.

    Looks like everybody here has a different experience with hitchhiking and that's ok.

    I feel like hitchhiking depends on the situation and the location you are in, you don't want to do hitchhiking in a palace where the crime rate is high.
