Music helps my Anxiety, I put my headphones in and just relax. I love Music, it is a really important part of my life. I think it helps me because, it drowns out the outside world and helps me escape.

Yes, of course , same goes for me! I was diagnosed with social anxiety and depression since I was 18 and I can confirm that music helped me going through that trauma. When I listen to music I relax and my attention shifts from my anxiety and depression ,sad thoughts and stress to another nice calming relaxing world. Music is the language of the soul, it makes your mood better and gives you motivation when it's needed, helps you understand yourself and your feelings more so that you can handle your condition better and puch yourself forward , it is a insprational ritual as well as a therapy.

I think there's nothing that has helped me more than music. I sometimes get the feeling, that my relationship with it gets too deep, but it's hard to say no to stuff that always helps me.

There's this one special song that always works fir me. I frequently get anxious and scared and that leads to me ending up crawled in my bed and there's this one song, that always clicks. It makes me cry much more, but in the end I feel clear and ready to face the world again.

There is no doubt about music helping people with anxiety. I myself had a sudden anxiety attact that is hard for me to control and what’s worst is if it’s happening right when you’re out in public and every voice Ihear or sounds all crumbled up in my ears and I feel like loosing my mind even more. When everything is too much for me to handle and my heart is starting to palpitate I then grab my ipod with my earphones with it and listen to classical music and I swear it really helps me block all the negative thoughts inside my head! That is why whenever I go out I always make sure I have my ipod with me.

Music is indeed an invisible theraphy, but, you can feel how it soothes you. It has helped different people of different ages.

Back then, when I had problems with my anxiety. I tried breathing exercises to calm me down. But, I think it just cane naturally when I heard a soothing music while I was doing my breathing exercises. That time it really helped me get a peaceful mind and a light heart. It was so magical that I couldn't explain why. I'm sure that there is a scientific explanation about it, an how the brain worked. But, still, I find it magical.

That is the power of music that nobody else can deny. You cannot see it, but you can hear and definitely feel it with your whole being.

I don't have anxiety, but I can say that music can help with it.

A year ago, my teenage daughter was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder and she had a hard time figuring out how to handle it. At the beginning she couldn't leave the house, it was very hard to watch her like that. After some time, she's learnt how to cope with it and the music is big part of her daily routine now.

Music gets her mind off of negative thoughts and she's gotten so much better. Meditation helped her too!
