What do you think of people who sleep next to your phones? What is the danger of sleeping next to your cellphone? Well according to some research you should not allow your children especially babies to sleep next to your cellphones because it can cause cancer.

That could be very hazardous because, electromagnetic radiation emanating from cell phones can cause rashes, migraine, skin irritation, swollen lymph nodes, dizziness, nausea etc.
Apparently, cell phone radiation breaks DNA strands and brain tumor risk is doubled. Exposure to cell phone electromagnetic
increases allergic reactions like eczema, asthma and hay fever.
I would say if you don't have much use of your cellphone, its better to turn it off. Especially, when you're going to bed.

You don't sleep next to your phone! You use it. Seriously, this is a very bad habit which we take for granted and hence don't even think about correcting it. You couldn't even imagine the long term consequences of doing that, yes even its a very low SAR rating phone.

Also more directly, it doesn't let you sleep properly, you are always in the anticipation of a notification, did it vibrate?, maybe I should check? Really guys get rid of your phone when you go to sleep.

I put my phone on a table next to my bed when I go to sleep because I use it as an alarm clock. Actually I use my phone basically as a clock these days since I got disconnected from the service. I always fall asleep next to a running laptop illuminating light and often with active headphones on my ears. It's a bad habit, I know.

I used to sleep keeping my phone under my pillow until when a person told me that its really harmful. Smartphones emit radiation which is harmful to us in many ways and its strictly advised not to keep your phone beside you while sleeping. It's better to keep it on flight mode or simply turn it off while sleeping to prevent radiation. The radiation emitted from you phone may cause headache, eye irritation and it may even weaken your eyesight as well. So, I would recommend everyone to keep your phone on flight mode or turn it off if its your habit to keep your phone next to you while sleeping.

I used to sleep next to my phone, but then I found out about harm it can cause to you. I also use it as alarm clock so now I have to get out from the bed and walk to the other side of the room to turn it off. I now can sleep better because I can't now browse Facebook or something and then I just get bored and fall asleep. So yeah, I recommend not sleeping next to your phone.

Sadly, I'm in the habit of sleeping next to my phone. I tend to use my phone as an alarm in the morning. That is why I like having my phone within arms distance. I have heard about cell phones emitting some type of radiation and I need to be more careful about my phone. The bright lights keep me up sometimes.

I try not to, but most of the times I end up falling asleep next to my phone. Mainly because I am texting and waiting for a reply and close my eyes just to rest for a while. But the while ends up being the whole night.

I've heard about cellphones causing cancer. I usually cut my phone off when it's not in use. Anything that gives off signals has some kind of emf radiation. The best thing to do if you have a lot of devices in your house is get emf filters. I usually keep filters in my house to cut down on emf radiation. The best thing to do is cut your phone off when your sleep and check it when you wake up.

When it comes to cell phone use and brain activity while sleeping, researchers found that using your cell phone before heading to bed can delay reaching the deep stages of sleep. This effect seems to be caused by radiation emitted by cell phones. Honestly, I've been doing this for a while now and have never had an issue. Granted, I have a pretty regular wake-up routine that never involves checking emails, FB, or anything else until I'm already up and have my coffee in hand.

WOW! After reading the information above, I am ashamed to say that I sleep next to my phone. Usually, my phone is the last thing I interact with before calling it a night. I don't suppose I am expected to get out of bed and walk my phone a "safe" distance away from me. By the end of the night, I am cozy in bed, and dare I mention lazy.

Going into the future, I would consider putting my phone to the further side of the bed.

I have an old cell phone that is not a smart phone I keep turned on at night. It's on the night stand, near the side of the bed I sleep on. I have a king size bed and my two dogs sleep with me. It's not registered with any carrier, and all I do is keep the battery charged so it will work if I need to call 911 for an emergency. Fortunately, I've never had to use it.

I do have a smart phone, but rarely use it.

I've never slept next to my phone. I usually keep it in the living room, as nobody really calls me at night. I recently read an article about this, not really encouraging. In brief, it said that sleeping next to your phone makes you stupider. Certainly not something I'm looking forward to. Although I must say I've fallen asleep many times with my phone on my hands. The next day I was feeling guilty, silly me! :p

I keep my iphone in the kitchen and I turn it off at night so the battery doesn't run low.

I never thought about any dangers of sleeping near my phone. I usually fall asleep with it somewhere on the bed. Other times I will put it on my dresser next to the bed. I also put it on charge overnight sometimes when it is dead or almost dead. I guess I should start turning it off at night to save battery.

I always sleep next to phone. The good thing is that I can charge it up and sleep right to my phone while it charges.Beside my bed is a charge port so I'll plug it up set it on my bed and go to sleep. It's a habit now.

I have to unfortunately since I use it as an alarm clock. I am aware of the health hazards, and will try to get rid of it as soon as possible. I have been having sleep problems for a while now, and I have both the phone and a wireless router in my room so it's no wonder.

Sometimes, I used it as an alarm clock specially when I need to wake up early to do my daily routine. Although, sleeping beside your phone is really brings danger to our health. But sometimes, I'm blinded by the truth even I'm aware with it. As far as I know, the radiation which are present in our mobile phone can cause serious type of cancer, in the long run.

So, for now! as much as possible, I try to control myself in this kind of habit.:D
