They say age does not have to be a deciding factor when it comes to becoming an entrepreneur. They even encourage and inspire the younger generation to take a leap and follow their dreams. Sounds easy but difficult to take. Maybe that could be true if I have the right mentors helping me with their wealth of experience and guiding me in making the right decisions. This is serious business and not everyone can handle the stress.

I believe entrepreneurship should be taught right after a child has learned to read. In my opinion one can never start learning these skills to early. The more these concepts are instilled, studied, and practiced the more financially aware that young person will be by the time they finish high school. I think all modern day school systems need to implement comprehensive entrepreneurship classes into their curriculum's.

I know a little bit about entrepreneurship and almost everyday I find ways to learn new skills through research and study. I love reading articles about business, leadership, management and entrepreneurship and etc... In my opinion, there is not ideal age to get into entrepreneurship, because it is a decision. You can get into entrepreneurship when you are a teenager, or young adult, or adult, or mature,or elderly, etc... I know stories of people who became entrepreneurs before their 30 s and others after theirs 40 s . I really value people who believe that is never late to start to pursue their dreams.

i believe entrepreneurship should be taught at the earliest age it can get. Yard sales and lemonade stands are a typical good start for a young child

There is no right age to get into entrepreneurship, you'll never know when inspiration will strike. I believe encouraging young individuals to get into entrepreneurship will help them to learn and experience the cons and pros of entrepreneurship. They will strive to figure out their place in the world and may want to do things their way.

The very word is enough to either scare a kid or elate him because he can say it. Imagine being called an "entrepreneur" when you were 5 years of innocence.

Actually, a child should start learning the value of a dollar as soon as he or she can start doing chores. Parents have recently gotten into the habit of simply giving their offspring money with no other reasoning than, "I love you."
I love you, to me, means that I am going to show you how to do a job, whether cleaning ones bedroom, making a bed or using a smaller version of a rake to help daddy rake the leaves. For that work I am going to give you x amount of money. Then I am going to show you what to do with your money. Some goes in the pocket, some goes in the bank, some in mommy's pocket for expenses and some for whatever cause you may like.

When a child learns how to work with money they also automatically contrive to make more of it. At that point the child will start questioning the parents and then the parents can lead them (hopefully with the childs ideas of entrepreneurship) in the direction they need to go in order to succeed in whatever avenues of endeavor.

It all starts with a simple phrase: Nothing is free and whatever you want must be worked for. With all of that we also include the phrases, "work smarter, not harder," and "there is nothing wrong with making money, it's just the excessive love for it that causes problems."

I so wish most children I encounter had been taught this lesson. In my family, we have taught the children these values, but many youngsters are used to being handed money, praise, grades, and trophies, all without having earned them, as if by virtue of their existence, they deserve to reap rewards. As a result, I'm seeing more and more with poor work ethics, and many who are unable to accept even the gentlest of criticism.

As soon as you practically understand what the word entrepreneurship is, with the proper foundation and support, I think you are goo to go.
The earlier the better, its not dependent on age but on when individuals become mature enough in their mind.

I don't think their is an age limit. It is great for young entrepreneurs to learn the trials and benefits of running their own business. If they learn these lessons young with limited resources just imagine what they will be able to do when they get older. I am all for it and will encourage my children if they have an ideal. Now when they start talking about dropping out of school then we have a problem!

In my own opinion, anyone can be an entrepreneur at any age. It doesn't really matter if you're too old or too young. As long as you are very interested to become one and you have the motivation and resources, then you can be one. I know a lot of young, successful entrepreneurs who put up their own business at a very young age. They say it's about being strategic, hardworking and dedicated, and of course, being focused on your goals. There is no such thing as young or old in the field of entrepreneurship.

It is better to start a business when young because it is easier to get a job if the business will fail. In India, especially in the Indian internet sector, large companies will have powerful officials steal the retirement savings of small business owners to blackmail the business owner to agree to resume theft .
If a person has had a job for 10 years and then they start their business, the greedy dishonest powerful officials in india will steal the retirement savings of twenty years without a court order and cannot be held accountable. These shameless fraud top officials will also steal the impressive resume of the business owner for their mediocre lazy greedy friends and relatives to get these women government jobs.

After 40, it is difficult to get a job, as companies prefer to hire younger people. A younger entrepreneur in their twenties will not lose much money, if his or her retirement savings are stolen and they can get a job more easily. Hence at least in India, it is advisable to start a business soon after college because of the high levels of corruption and lack of humanity, morals among top officials

In my opinion you have to gain some working experience first and then take the next step of creating your own business. I don't mean having to work your whole life as an employee before starting your business , just a couple of years will be enough. You have to have a boss before becoming one :) This way you can learn things like how to manage your staff in real life not in theory. I have been working as a programmer for the past 6 years and i am just feeling ready to start my own business next year.

I think being an entrepreneur doesn't require age but skills. Entrepreneurs are those that create opportunity out of a new or existing idea and make it profitable then age do not matter. In fact, we have a lot of successful young entrepreneurs today others are even dropouts of prestigious universities or even those who didn't even reach high school.
