I recently became interested in archery, mainly a recurve bow. I quickly learned that I will need to increase my strength in order to use the bow properly, as it has a draw weight of 45 pounds.

I have been looking for ways to increase my strength so that I use it without having problems pulling back the string. I don't have weights, and I don't want to go to a gym. I am not sure what I can do to increase my strength besides push ups and working with a resistance band.

Do any of you enjoy fun activities that would be easier if you were stronger? Does anyone have suggestions on the best workouts to increase my strength?

People who have good spirituality, good healthy habits, motivation, happiness, love, good relationships and etc... have reasons to have a good strength to participate in fun activities. In order to increase my strength in order to participate in fun activities, my well being must to be fulfilled with positive things or I will not perform well.

I am a big fan of classes. So Pilates, yoga or strength training classes. They usually have differs names for them. Your in a class full of people with good energy and good music playing. It's a lot of fun. These classes usually take place at a gym or a studio. Usually you can find them for cheap on Groupon if you don't want to go with a gym. Just type in "fitness classes". And if you don't have weights at home you can use water jugs instead.
