Does anyone else do this fun, hybrid workout? I started about a month ago with Planet Fitness's 30 Minute Express workout. I feel it is a good combination of strength training and cardio. I like to round my workout out with stretching and a massage!

Circuit Training is the best! As an semi-advanced Badminton Professional myself nothing is more fun and challenging than a circuit training session.

Could someone explain circuit training please? I'm not sure what it is. When I saw this I was thinking of intervals but by your post I'm guessing that's not what this is.

Interval training majorly involves the change in intensity after a certain time period or "intervals", hence the name. While on the other hand Circuit training goes one step further. It involves a variety of exercises clubbed together for a set period of repetitions. Much like creating exercise stations with push-ups, crunches, rope skipping, back-ups, plank etc. You do some repetitions of one and then move on. Once you have finished one set for each that counts for completion of a "Circuit". The best benefit of this type of training is that you can have infinite number of exercise combinations to form the circuit.

I was using NetFit's channel on my Roku box to do circuit training. It wiped me out at first but I felt amazing! I saw results quickly and had a lot of energy. I would absolutely recommend circuit training to anyone. I enjoy that it mixes cardio and weight training. I love that you only spend about 30 second on each exercise because just when I'm ready to give up it's time for something new.
