Game of Thrones?

    I've been hearing how good Game of Thrones is and I've watched bits and pieces on youtube but I'm not sure I want to commit to the five seasons it would take to catch up. Does anyone know the exact time it would take to watch all five seasons plus the three episodes in one really long binge? Are their episodes I can skip or are they all necessary? Thanks.

    Each episode is an hour and there are 10 episodes per season. So it would take 50 hours to catch up. It's well worth it though. Just start from season one and you'll be addicted pretty quickly. Then your worry will be that aren't enough episodes to keep you busy rather than there being too many episodes to catch up on.

    For whatever reason, most shows and movies that are based on epic book series mostly butcher the original content. But Game of throne is not one of them. When I saw the trailer for "Game of Thrones" on HBO, I was immediately skeptical. Oh, I was going to watch it, but I didn't have high expectations. I did hold a little hope because HBO is known for their high quality dramas. The acting is awesome and I actually felt like I was there into Winterfell for the first time. I feel like I've actually got faces to add to the characters that I've been reading about for a long time.

    I would say that all the episodes are necessary. If you skipped a few here and there you may end up extremely confused later on. Also, once you're through season one you'll know for sure if it's worth your time.
