Who Enjoys Listening To Music While They Do Housework

Do you ever crank up the stereo while you do your housework ? I love doing this it makes the housework go quicker and its more fun to boogy away to the music instead of just doing the chores in silence. Music is so good to make you motivated while doing something especially if it is something you don't like doing.

You bet, I definitely turn up the old stereo when doing chores around the house. You got to crank it up because usually the housework is not always in the living room, where most people's stereo are located. My wife is always complaining about the neighbors hearing it, but whatever...Deal with it neighbors.

Either, I put a good record on or just set the CD player to randomize depending on how busy I am. As with a record player you get about 22 minutes before you have to flip it. But I enjoy the nostalgic aspect of it and more importantly the quality of sound. This helps me get lost in doing housework, it's a great tip to help get the housework done.

 

Yes, I love listening to music while doing housework. It is a great motivator and helps put me in a better mood. I sing along with whatever is playing and before I know it it is done. After that I'll keep the music on. I enjoy it, and it can also be relaxing.

 

Glad other people feel this way too. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to do the old fashioned "dance in the kitchen with the broom handle as a microphone." Yes of course, I love jamming out to music while I do my homework because I already don't like to do homework. I do. Before i would start working, I would play music. It's as if chores become lighter if music serves as background. I feel less stressed and I feel much happier even if tons and tons of work are waiting if music is just around the corner, playing. But, of course, I would choose music that fits my taste, I mean, the wholesome ones. And the volume must be properly mixed, not too loud, not too soft; just pleasing to the ears.

 

Im a music fanatic and I love listening to music while Im doing housework. The reason why do is because it allows you to work steady and also keeps you focused on what you have to do. If I am in high spirits, I usually crank up the volume of my radio. If I am downcast, I do not usually increase the radio volume as I prefer quiet solitude at such moments.

I should mention that this applies only to housework chores that do not require a lot of concentration. While performing housework chores that call for concerted attention, I do not typically listen to high-volume music.

 

Whenever I'm doing work I always have music playing. I usually make a good jazz playlist or one with movie scores. Anything with lyrics tends to distract me.

 

I do the exact same thing. I really like to have music playing while I'm working, but I make sure to put in my playlist only songs that have no lyrics. Songs with lyrics have a tendency to be very distracting for me. Also, I rarely enjoy loud music, I prefer to keep the volume on my player low at all times. Loud music can be as distracting to me as songs with lyrics.

I love listening to music while doing housework! Specifically, smooth jazz or something relaxing, windows open, nice breeze flowing. Before you know it the entire house is cleaned and you don't even remember doing most of the work! Lol

 

I never do the housework without listening to music. It just pushes me to do more unnecessary work that I normally wouldn't or want to do. My mum is always getting me to do everything in the house because she probably thinks that I like doing it when I only do it for the music.
