What are your favorite Death Metal bands?

    Death Metal is one of my favorite genres of music. Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Nile, Hate, Behemoth, and Beyond Creation or some of my favorite Death Metal bands. I love Death Metal because it has such an aggressive feel to it, and I've been hooked ever since. It is my opinion, that some of the greatest musicians in the world play Death Metal.

    Here are mine (no order and may include sub-genres such as goregrind, grindcore, etc.
    Death Deicide Cryptopsy Vital Remains Morbid Angel (let's forget their last album happened) Cannibal Corpse (Barnes era. I like Corpsegrinder but I prefer the Barnes albums) Gorerotted (first two albums are classic IMO) Ghoul Carcass Desecration Nekrogoblikon Hate Eternal Exhumed Decapitated Origin (I really just love their first two or three albums a lot) Autopsy Behemoth.

    My favorite Death Metal bands are Death, Morbid Angel, Obscura, Eternal Deformity and Opeth. There is also a band called Adagio, they're from France. But they sound like a really dark and beautiful mix of Power, Progressive and Death Metal.

    None of them. I find the genre too negative in general for me. This is one of my least favorite genre of music and to be honest, the least listen to because of the instant fatigue acquired from just minutes of listening. I have heard guitar riffs that I have fully enjoyed on some Death Metal albums though. Although, like stated above there are really great musicians in Death Metal bands. I can really appreciate that aspect of there genre of music. I just struggle with this specific genre.
