Unfortunately your posts did not meet our quality requirements. Your grammar and punctuation were excellent but you lacked content. Your posts were only 1 - 2 sentences long. Posts should generally be at least 3 - 4 sentences in length.

If you still wish to become a writer then you must make 10 more posts and improve their length. If you do well on your second chance then you will be approved.

    The best of luck!

Your posts were also too short to meet our requirements. You are welcome to try again but please include at least 3 - 4 sentences this time.

Unfortunately your posts did not meet our requirements. Why? They were too short. Luckily we do gives second chances. You will be allowed to try again. Please lengthen your posts to at least 3 - 4 sentences and we will be happy to approve your account. :)

These are some examples of posts that were too short...

You will need to make 10 new posts (you are essentially starting over). You will be re-submitted to the pending writers que as soon as you do. Good luck!

Thank you. I will try again and improve on what's lacking. And yes, I do put attention on correct grammar and punctuation. :)

I have done another 10 posts not including what I replied to you here twice. I really hope I could show some signs of improvement. Looking forward to hear from you. Fingers crossed!

This would be my first post in here. I have been wandering and browsing on topics in here before starting to comment and share my thoughts. As for the the guides, it is very much helpful for us, newbies, to know the right way of interacting on your forum. I have read other topics regarding the proper way of punctuation marks and even the proper way of capitalizing letters.

Thank you very much on these reminders and guides. I would start now to discuss with other members in here and your guides are really big help to me. As for your forum, this could help me enhance my communication and typing skills. More power to your team !

I can remember posting on post loop and I know that you have to have at least 3-6 strong sentences of good content before they will allow you to post there. I think that this is a good thing because it gives you a chance to think about what it is that you you really want to talk about. So I would tell anyone that it thinking about doing this site make sure that you enjoy writing before you post here because they will tell you that it just isn't good enough.

I tell you that these posting forums are not as easy as they sound. You have to really put in good work if you want to get on them it's just as you are at a 9-5.it can payoff the same way and faster.

To Ken Brace and everyone else joining this site, this is my 10th posts, I must say ,It's a wonderful opportunity for me because of my love for writing , sharing and learning new facts and truth, I think one can be limited if they don't communicate with others as much as they can. I could reflect on the days when I only had my dolls and sometimes even my walls to talk to, but thanks to site like these, I'm able to express, learn and share knowledge.

    Thanks alot, Ronetta.:)

Hey @KenBrace, I didn't want to create a new post to question this, so i found this one with the same subject. Do i need keep doing 3-4 sentence long comments on others forums after approved? Or can I just answer someone question with a only 2 sentence long? I also read that the rating determinate your credits per post, should I do long posts to increase my rating? Or only useful posts are enought to do this?

    Best Regards,
    Leonardo Moro

Yes, you'll pretty much always want to write at least 3 lines of content per post. Also, keep in mind that "lines" and "sentences" are not the same thing.

This is a three line post...

This is just an example sentence that should not be taken seriously. This is just an example sentence that should not be taken seriously. This is just an example sentence that should not be taken seriously. This is just an example sentence that should not be taken seriously. This is just an example sentence that should not be taken seriously. This is just an example sentence that should not be taken seriously.

It has three lines and six sentences. The sentence number doesn't matter. What matters is how many lines of content you have. These three sentences won't do the trick because it's only two lines of content...

I fail to understand why post length means so much. Since when did quantity become quality ? A good writer can say the same thing in fewer words due to having a higher vocabulary capacity. If all you have to say takes only two lines but it well written then i don't see the problem. A writer will know if he/she just posted for a quick boost to his/her post count. If you post and feel you put in effort and said something of sense then all should be well. Not so ? :)

    @jason cookson

Well think about it. If someone went to your blog and saw 2 or 3 sentences on a topic they were expecting to read paragraphs about, they he or she wouldn't gt the value they were seeking. Sometime the quality is in the quantity depending on the situation. With writing, more is better unless its a text ad or some kind of ad where you have 7 seconds or less to grab the readers attention. However, on blogs, forums, and article sites the readers are looking for information so the quantity is more and more is better.

Short posts show a lack of effort and don't contribute anything worthwhile to a thread.

Short posts are fine every now and then. Especially if you are in the middle of a discussion and you need to ask a question.

But most of the time you need at least 4 lines (not sentences, lines!) of content for it to be worthwhile.

Longer posts also help with SEO since it provides more content.
