I spend so much time in front of a screen everyday_computer, tablet, phone. So much of my time is spent on-line. Sure, my work requires I be on-line most of the time, but I must admit that half of the time I am on-line, I'm not working.

There was a three day blackout a couple of weeks ago where I live, and I was moody and depressed the whole time, meaning I cannot survive without the Internet. Can you?

Yes, but not very well. When I had a 24-hour downtime, I think I was checking every fifteen minutes to see if I could get back online. By three days I would have been hunting down the nearest web cafe! Since I need to use it for work, being without the web for a while would be a real problem as it would cost me a lot of income, or leave me trying to scramble for an alternate place to get online.

If I had some warning, I'd probably be alright since in theory I could make plans to take a day off. In practice I'll admit it is rather more likely I'd be knocking on my neighbours door and begging to borrow their wifi!

Please don’t say this! I can’t live a minute without internet and for youngsters they might accept living without air, but if you ask to live a day without internet it might be like jail for them. it’s really vital part of our lives and now no one can imagine life without internet.
Honestly I use the internet a lot, but i know i can survive more than a day without it .

All things considered, individuals would need to begin conversing with each other more, similar to they used to, and the entire morning talk at the mail station will return. Children would need to utilized the library to discover stuff out as opposed to utilizing Google, which will get them out of the house and figuring out how to do things for themselves. Individuals will get letters rather than messages.

A number of us utilize the Web to impart, particularly those in the lower age sections above 10 years. From email to visit discussions, informal organizations, dating locales and even virtual universes our requests on the Web for social correspondence and systems administration are immense. So it's anything but difficult to foresee that an existence without the web would drive individuals to swing back to grass roots and mingle and impart on an extremely fundamental level.

We utilize the Web to impart like never before and it's turned into a fundamental part of any standard method for correspondence. So with no Web our method for correspondence would need to adjust. I all that much uncertainty we'll be sending smoke signals, however letters would satisfy the gap messages left and telephones would satisfy the holes that texting, visit and online networking made.

An expansion in posted mail and telephone calls would without a doubt advantage our nearby postal administrations and phone system suppliers, however what we adored about the Web was that correspondence was free. So it's a conceivable embellishment to expect we'd all split out the pens and paper, begin licking stamps and calling everybody we know. Facilitate more we would presumably depend on nuts and bolts, that stay free and essentially go "talk" to loved ones.

NO,I can't live without the internet.
Nowadays Internet became a part of our life.
Most of the jobs are based on the internet only(like software etc).
We can search information on the internet, watch videos, play games etc.
We can also earn money on the internet.
Many of us use the Internet to communicate, especially those in the lower age brackets above 10 years. From email to chat forums, social networks, dating sites and even virtual worlds our demands on the Internet for social communication and networking are huge.
We use the Internet to communicate more than ever and it’s become an integral part of any standard means of communication. So with no Internet, our means of communication would become difficult.
The Internet was a technological advancement that excelled us into the 21st century and changed the way we socialised, did business and purchased goods.
It paved the way for the future and still has many exciting advancements ahead of itself. Witnessing the loss of the Internet is probably very unlikely, but either way, I’m quite sure as a human race we’d adapt and persevere as we have done for thousands of years.

There is no way I can live without the internet. A gambler who hops in their vehicle driving to a casino has a rush within themselves such as a thrill anticipating big winnings at the casino. I can feel a rush like a gambler driving their vehicle to a casino before I get on the internet. The internet gives me a thrill inside. I would feel empty inside of myself not having access to the internet in a terrible way.

I can't live without the internet. It's a habit for me to search, communicated and play games. In the old times, people would survive easily because they never got to encounter this technology, so they would never know what it's like to have the internet. Nowadays, people are so adapted to doing everything on their computers, which I don't believe people could switch back to never having computers or Wi-Fi. Also, many people would lose their jobs as lots of work is done over the internet, including mine. Also, most children in this generation are obsessed with video games, and I believe they would have a very hard time never playing a video game again So no, in conclusion, I do not believe that I could survive (Or our generation) without the internet.

Oh my goodness, I would shrivel up and die without my wifi. I do everything on a computer, including my business and a lot of my personal shopping. I would likely supernova if I had to live without it.

I'm trying to remember what I did with my life before I started messing around on the net in the mid-1990s. It's sort of a terrifying blur of crappy birthdays and school clothes shopping. I don't like it.

I can barely live off without Internet nowadays. It's mostly because I work and earn online and furthermore I need to keep in constant state of reading emails, talking to clients and friends on social media too.

Internet has become part and parcel of who we are today. Its like having a watch or shoes. I can't just do without it even for less than a day.

My life without internet is very difficult and hence, I cannot survive without it. Sometimes, Internet is not just for Entertainment. It's just like a basic need like, Food, Water and Air. Without Internet, not only it becomes hard to be with your friends at a distance, but also, it's tough to stay updated at your work. So, to enjoy a good lifestyle, Internet is a basic need.

Definitely, yes I can survive without the internet. Nothing like being in the lap of nature!
There is so much to do in the real world. I love reading. So, I can go to the libraries often and make real friends. But, it will be a little difficult to not miss my internet friends and the enormous opportunities that the internet offers.

Everyone can survive without the internet. Supposing there's war and EMPs created by the nuclear explosions disables all electronics worldwide wouldn't people be forced to survive without electronics and the internet?
At the moment like most of the others who've said they can't do without the internet neither can I. Embarrassing though it is to admit I am an internet addict so while I can access the net, I don't see why I shouldn't be online. When I can't I guess I'll have to learn to do without it.

I think I can survive without the internet. The internet enhances my life not destroys it. So while I may be bored at times without it, it would force me to be more adventurous and active which is always a positive. It would also encourage me to spend more time gathering information as the internet will not be there to instantly give me an answer. This would teach me to be patient and independent.

Yes, I could and I often try to avoid getting online and wasting a whole day. Today I made it through the whole morning until I thought I should check my email for any word from a sick friend. I ended up spending a few hours doing surveys and reading news articles, and writing emails. I would say it is harder to stay off line in the winter, compared to summer, when I have more outdoor activities.

What I find sad in many ways are our younger folks that can't put their phones down for more than a few minutes. They stare at their phones while walking and exercising, cooking or even doing school work. Facebook and Twitter, and others keep them glued in and clueless out. Don't get me started on ear speaker plugs where your trying to talk to someone only to discover they are not listening and can't hear you. Oh, but that's another rant.

I don't have a smart phone yet and that keeps me off the internet a lot of the time which helps. But I often do long for the days before cell phones and wide computer use, for I miss talking to people more and reading letters written on paper from distant friends and relatives. Not to mention all the other exciting adventures I used to do more of in my younger days before the internet took over.

Yes, I sure can!~I'm old school, so without giving my age away; I can honestly say I am able to find sustinence elsewhere other than the Web. I grew up without the internet, dvds, video games and cell phones, etc. Kids back then spent most of the day playing outside and made due with only their imagination . But then again; it was those same kids that imagined the technology that influenced the world as it is today.

I cannot live without the internet. I spend the majority of my time on the internet. I do everything on the internet. It is the first place I go to for information and news. I play games on the internet. I love the convenience of online shopping.

Survival without internet is impossible. My day to day activities totaly depend on the internet.

Especially at school where exams, research, assignments and course notes are passed to students online. It would be impossible for me to succeed without the internet.
