    The Shawshank Redemption.

I remember I had a tough time in college. I contemplated dropping out because, as Steve Jobs says, I couldn't see the value on it. But I really didn't know what to do next (and I'm not Steve Jobs), so I decided to stay and finish the program.

One day I watched The Shawshank Redemption as I saw that it was always the #1 movie on IMDb. It's a movie about life sentence and life in prison. Somehow, I could totally relate to the characters. I suddenly felt that I had spent my life in some kind of prison. When you are finally released and returned to the world, it’s like you are incapable of doing anything. When I was watching the last 30 minutes of the movie, I just collapsed in agony and I couldn’t control my tears. When the movie’s over, I started to think seriously about what should I do with my life. After all, I think the movie is really inspiring. I’m grateful to the people who make It.

I did not admit this when it happened but, after I saw The Outsiders I cried a little. I was in the seventh grade and after having the class read the book my English literature teacher [Mr.Mansfield] had us watch it. On a side note, how is Shawshank Redemption number one on IMDb? I think the truth is The Titanic because no one has beat their number of views in US or maybe even worldwide. I have never seen the entire movie The Titanic myself though.

My Sister's Keeper is THE movie that I will cry almost every time when I watch it. It so sweet and heartbreaking and very relatable due to cancer sadly being in a lot of people's lives. Everyone should go watch it if they haven't seen it yet; a real tear jerker!

The movie Note Book and Titanic made me cry like no tomaroo. Im usually not the emotional type but somehow it hit a soft spot. The movies were great and also classics. I recommend them if you want to shed some mutual tears.

Wow. This just reminded me of the movies that really made me cry when I was young. Although till now I also feel like I will shed tears. This are the heartbreaking movies where innocent young boys and girls are punished by their guardians, they are made to do difficult duties but they are so young to do so. This is simply because their very good parents unfortunately had passed on. Thus their relative adopted them but they are not treated as their own. This makes me feel so sad to a position of shedding tears. :)

This is a really old movie, but "The Champ" makes me cry every time. Ricky Shroeder was an amazing child actor in this movie. I tell everyone that if they want to watch a tear jerker, this is it!

There are absolutely movies that makes me cry. One of them is Miracle in Cell No. 7. It is a Korean Movie around a father's affection for his daughter. It's truly a pitiful film and it took me so long to proceed onward in the wake of watching it. I think there is no justice in that film that the protagonist was executed wrongly.

Another sad film that I've watched and unquestionably made my cry is Hello Ghost, another Korean Film in which the movie is about an average man being haunted by series of ghosts, and he is bailing them to get them out of his life. It appears like an ordinary movie in the beginning til you reach the middle yet hold up till you see the completion of the film, it will positively make you weep hysterically.

There are quite a few movies that will make me cry every time I watch them. They are Hachi: A Dog's Tale (even just thinking about this one gets me), My Girl, Bambi, Bridge To Terabithia, Pay It Forward, and Stand By Me, just to name a few. If you haven't seen these movies yet, you should check them out...just be sure to have the tissues ready...

I'm not a big crier at movies, but I'd have to agree that the worst movie of all time (in the sense that it made me bawl like a baby) is Hachi: A Dog's Tale. It will get to you if you are a fan of our furry friends. I'd advise you to steer away from this movie if you are a bit emotional already, as I guarantee lots of waterworks.

I don't watch movies that often and I'm not an emotional person who can cry from a movie, but for some reason there's a movie that gets me every time. That movie is "Titanic".

When I first watched the movie, I was just a kid at the time. I remember my parents buying a CD of the movie and never showing it to me for some reason. One day, when I was home alone, I remembered about the movie. I opened the drawer where my parents keep all the movies, found the CD case that said "Titanic" on it, opened it and inserted the CD into the player and started watching the movie.

At first, I was not really interested in it, but as I was watching it more and more it became more interesting. I didn't even notice how much time passed and I was already at the end of the movie. I started crying for the first time from a movie and it was a strange experience for me, since I only watched cartoons or movies that only had happy endings before. After finishing it, I took the CD, put it back in the drawer and went in my room, never telling my parents about anything that happened.

I think it would be an interesting topic to talk about someday, since it was my first time crying from a movie and not the only time I've cried from "Titanic", even after watching it several times, there's just something about it that makes me emotional.

There are plenty of movies that have made me cry. One movie that did hit me hard is "Honey Trap" it's a movie on Netflix. The betrayal that got shown in that movie hit me so hard. I just couldn't believe this actually happen in real life. Its based on a true story in London by the way. I couldn't even explain the movie to my mom without crying so bad.

"What's eating Gilbert Grape?" If you've seen the movie and watched till the end then you know that movie brings on the water works real good oh man why Leonardo di Caprio did not win an award for that one was beyond me his acting was oscar worthy. Titanic really did not make me cry actually I was just bummed with the ending and the whole outcome of their relationship (saving spoilers just in case someone hasn't seen it). The other movie I can say gets me every time is "The Notebook" I cry for a good five minutes with that ending and that's if I am lucky it gets me every time and I have seen that movie a lot!!!!!!

The big cry fest though especially after having my kid was "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" I decided to watch that movie with a sleeping child in my arms word of warning to mothers DON'T DO THAT!!!!!!

There are few movies that made me cry at the end. Even though I am not a movie buff, but I do watch few movies per week sitting at the comfort of my home.

The Schindler's list is one of the movies that I have watched more than 15 times and tried to understand that the level of pain the Jews had to go through for the Nazis. That's a classic movie and tears filled my eyes every time I watched it!

Also The Shawshank Redemption is the other movie which I had watched many times and almost every time I sobbed silently by emotion the movie produces.

Requiem for a dream always makes me cry. It has been stuck in my head for years. I don’t want to give major spoilers, so I’ll avoid saying what happens or how it ends, but it portrays so accurately how life is. How our decisions and dreams shape the future. I know it sounds really typical or obvious, but the older I get, the more I realize things work that way either for better or worse.

I’ve always found this movie to be astonishing. Every time I see it, I get absorbed by the plot and feel the way I felt the first time. It is always a pleasure to watch movies like this one, the ones that keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you with something to think about.

"Titanic" was one of the movies that made me cry, I really hated the scene when Jack died just to protect and save Rose. Another movie that i really love, that put tears into my eyes was the movie "Upside Down", it was tears of joy when the two characters finally made a way to be together even though gravity pulls them apart.
"Me before You", "If I Stay" and "Fault in our Star" are the movies that I watched recently that also made me cry. It's really sad if someone is going to die.

There are many movies that bring tears to my eyes. One of my favorite movies that makes me cry is "The 10 People You Meet In Heaven". It is an amazing movie about an old man who dies and goes to heaven to meet ten of the most important people that influenced his life and him as a person. It is a beautiful movie.

Another one that really gets me crying is "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams. It is a very emotional movie about life and heaven. The father, played by Robin Williams, loses his two children in an accident and later, he also dies in an accident and the wife is left all alone. The wife ends up committing suicide, which means she cannot get into heaven. So, Robin Williams and his son travel down to hell to find her and they bring her back to heaven. If you have never seen this movie, I highly recommend it.

The movie that brought tears to my eyes was "Born Free". It is a 1966 British drama film about a real-life couple who raised an orphaned lion cub called Elsa (a lioness) to adulthood, and released her into the wilderness of Kenya. It was a struggle for her to survive as she was not used to the wildlife. She was attacked by all the other lions. Eventually, she made it.

The last scene shows her bringing her two cubs to meet the couple who cared for her. They played with Elsa and although they longed to hug the cubs, they refrained because they were born free.

That scene pulled at my heartstrings. Tears flooded my eyes.

I am not a big crier however some movies just bring me to tears. I am sure that no one with a beating heart could resist shedding a few tears in the heartbreaking death of Marley in Marley and Me. I myself still feel the burning ache of his death today. I also still get chocked up at the death of Mufasa in The Lion King.

So it seems I generally cry when a death of an animal occurs. I think this is because is seems more unjustifiable and cruel which just breaks my heart and thus opens the flood gates.

A movie that has recently made me cry was this documentary on Netflix's called "Alive Inside" it's a story line of music and memory. A couple of men go to nursing homes and take the time to sit with the elders. They talked to them about their childhood and what type of music they were into. Some of them didn't really remember their childhood, but once they got their favorite songs it seems as if their memory came back to them. It made us see how music is helpful and can take you back to a certain point in your life. I cried and I enjoyed the fact that they took the time to do this. They bought headsets for as many people as they could. It made me smile seeing the elders and the young men smile. Nursing homes can be depressing so to see them in that light with so much energy, enjoying the music on the headset was an unforgettable moment. I can cry again just thinking about it. One of the best documentaries in my book !

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. I know the title doesn't seem like a crying movie... but that scene where Fili died. I cried. And Kili is killed by Bolg stabbing him with the point of his mace. I cried some more. When Thorin is killed by stabbing himself with his own sword, I freaked out. Anyone who saw the movie would agree.
