I enjoy listening to many different genres of music. I, unfortunately, have only been able to attend three concerts thus far. I am curious to know about others' favorite concert experiences, and whom they would recommend seeing.

My favorite out of the musicians I have seen live would have to be Eric Church. The energy level in the arena was electrifying! I really enjoyed how he engaged the audience throughout the whole show. I believe interacting with the audience is a very important aspect when it come to a live concert.

What is the best concert you have ever attended? What factors contribute to your decision?

My favorite concert was in Connecticut. Everyone seemed to come to Connecticut at the time. It was a concert with a conglomeration of artist. It was back when Usher song "You Make Me Wanna" was out. He was the headliner. There were so many people there. It was Mary J, Puff Daddy, Lil Kim, Mase, The Lox, Busta Rhymes. There may have been others there as well, but I can't remember. They would have concerts like that often in Connecticut. I had so much fun that night because I was able to sit close to the stage. I kept waiting around to get my ticket, so I didn't sit with my friends, but that was okay because I met a group of girls there and we had a blast!

I would have to say that my favorite concert was at Madison Square Garden. In the beginning of 2006, Billy Joel did 12 shows there in a two or three week span. I went to two of them and my favorite was the second one. He performed "Angry Young Man" and "Vienna," my two favorites of his. I ended up leaving my wallet in a taxi before the show and never got it back. In the wallet, there was almost $200 as well as our train tickets back to Long Island. Needless to say, when the show began, I was in a very foul mood. But the combination of the great show as well as the great people that we met who are sitting in front of us temporarily made me forget about that. I hope to eventually get to see Billy in concert again.

I enjoy listening lots of music genres and I watched several music concerts in my life, some better than others.

I think, however, that my favourite concert was in Bologna, performed by Paul Kalkbrenner. What positive energy you could breathe!!!I would like to watch one of my favourite singer, David Gilmour, performing a day if I i had the chance!!!

My favorite concert was in the winter of the late 70's when David Bowie performed in the Spectrum theater in Philadelphia. It was a blustering cold evening but had no bearing on how determined I was to see him perform. When my friend and I finally arrived we waited in anticipation for him to appear. Within a half an hour he came out dressed in an orange suit matching his orange hair and belted out my favorite song of the time, "Young American." The concert concluded with several other songs from his current album. Needless, to say, my friend and I agreed we would come out again in any kind of weather to see the Thin White Duke once again perform.

When I was young, the last concert I went to was in 1978 or '79. I went to see REO Speedwagon and Heart. It was in the old Astrodome in Houston, Texas. That was back when that style of music was still young.

I never got to hear them. That places was not made for music, although back then people swore by it. My friend and I listened to the warm up bands, but when they went to break just before the main attractions started, my friend and I both had terrible headaches. So we ended up leaving the stands, getting a soda, buying a T-Shirt each, finding our car, and leaving.

I never went to another until this year, when I went to an outdoor concert. We listen to a local artist do some very old 70's music. I really enjoyed it.

I've only gone to one concert in my whole life o_O....and it was Duran Duran back in 1993. I loved the band at the time (still do), so I will have to say it's the best concert I've ever been to...since it's the ONLY concert I've ever been to. :p But I would be interested in checking out a Coldplay or Radiohead concert any day if anyone wants to go. Seems everybody got a bit too old in my gang to feel like doing much of anything. Oh well. I really like early 90's music, mostly rock, but also alternative.

I love concerts too, both the music in itself as well as the atmosphere. Funny that you only have been at one concert throughout your life @Natasha0717, why is that if you don't mind me asking? Those three bands are actually band I enjoy as well, so it seems we share the same musical tastes! :)

As for my favorite concert, surprisingly, it was a Bon Jovi concert. I say surprisingly because it's not my favorite artist, but he can put on an awesome show and he interacts a lot with the audience, so I really loved it.

The best concert I've ever gone to was actually in September. I went to see Def Leppard with my boyfriend at Shorline Ampitheatre in San Jose and they were awesome. REO Speedwagon and Tesla were also playing and they had so much enthusiasm, it was amazing.

Actually, the lead singer in REO Speedwagon was pretty old, but he was still the most energetic performer that night. It was pretty funny to see this little guy with white hair and skinny jeans hop around on stage.
