What's Your Favorite Silly Song

I've lived for over 5 decades, so I have many favorite silly songs in my repertory. One of the funnies yet I've heard is Gitarzan by Ray Stevens. Every time I hear this song I can't help but smile. This song has got to be one of the silliest songs ever written and sung! LOL! What's your favorite silly song?

 

My son used to play with Webkinz, and they would have featured stuffed animals. They would have information about that animal, and there would be an animated music video starring that animal and some of the others that came out that month. My son had a pelican, and it was the Pet of the Month. It had its own music video and song, and it was so adorable that I didn't mind playing it for him over and over again.

 

I won't lie, the "Man Song" cracks me up from time to time. It is corny and full of stereotypes, but it is a great mixture of sarcasm and defeat. I forgot where I first heard the song, but it was quite a few years back. Regardless, I hope it gives y'all the same amount of laughter that is has given me.

 

Rock the Casbah by The Clash. It's not really a silly song, but every road trip I go on, it seems to come on the radio, and everyone sings and dances to it and it's rather entertaining.

Bohemian Rhapsody is also another good one, everyone knows that one.

 

Oh this...thanks to my best friend, I have been introduced to quite a few silly songs that have made me smile...and shake my head more than a few times. A few that come to mind are; The Duck Song from Bryant Oden, The Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley and Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows.

 

My favorite silly song is a song I made up. I had a chihuahua named, "Chico" and I loved him so much. When he was alive, I'd always sing, " I got a Chico-stick", a Chico, Chico, Chico-stick! It was the silliest song I ever made up and I loved it. Now I can't sing it anymore without feeling sad because he passed away last Oct and I just can't sing it without practically crying.
