In my point of view, offline games are the best. Offline games have high graphics with great features and awesome, attractive maps.
Offline games are bigger in size, but they are worth it.
Online games require an internet connection, and you can't play it without an internet connection.
But offline games don't require the internet and can be played offline as well.
One disadvantage of offline games is that they require high graphics system with a higher ram.
But online games are cloud-based and just require a normal pc.

I personally prefer online games for their communication with other people. I do not find it enjoyable to play with NPC (non-player-characters), instead, I like to have to work with my team to get the job done. I also only like fighting against real people considering you don't feel as accomplished defeating a bot. Finally, I also like online games due to the ability to play with my friends and hang out. One of the things I enjoy about offline games is that they tend to be more laid-back (depending on the kinds you play), there tends to be a better storyline/plot, and offline games can be played without internet.

Honestly, I prefer offline games. Being a bit of an introvert, I don't really like to play online games. Also, a lot of popular online games are competitive, and I'm not really good at those types of games. I prefer offline games with a story. Those are most engaging to me.

Offline all the way. While online games give you the appeal of being able to play and connect with so many other like-minded people, they unfortunately expose you to the worlds less than savory video-gamer. I've been playing games fir several years and I've never hated them more than when I played online games such as WoT, LoL, CoD, and etc. All online game will inevitably succumb to the scourge that is toxic players. Not only that but well-made offline games have the advantage of more polished content than the average triple-A online title. Then again, maybe I'm just mad after 5000+ hours of online games.

In short, offline games are better made and you don't have to deal with terrible communities.

I prefer playing online games rather that offline games. It is very enjoyable and exciting to play and socialize with people from different places by playing games with them. Interacting with different people can make us happier because we don't feel alone while we are playing games. Some of the online games I play are PUBG, COD, and MLBB. I can say that these online games are absolutely perfect for me especially because socializing makes my mood brighter. Thank you!

I think it depends on what you're looking for.

If you want something with a linear storyline or just run of the mill gameplay that you can take your time with, I'd say offline games are better. I certainly prefer them for these reasons as I can stop and pick up where I left off at any time that I want. It helps that the content that I pay for remains mine and can't be removed at the whims and needs of the publisher.

On the other hand, online games did help me to meet new people and allow me to join a pretty nice community. I haven't really been immersed in the kind of toxicity that's associated with the environment, but I think that's more luck than anything else. The other benefit of online gaming is that this community and its ever-changing needs have made them dynamic and responsive in a way that offline games aren't. They evolve with you and constantly challenge you in new ways.

I like both modes, but in my opinion, I prefer playing online games most of the times rather than the offline ones. Offline games are a great way to have fun and all, but they fail to give the same experience as online games do. This is because offline games do not have the unpredictability of human nature. Probably the main reason for my bias against offline games because I'm very competitive in behaviour.

However, offline games do have a decent storyline.

Online games and offline games are both a good subject! Story driven games normally are offline, and therefore those raw and amazing stories (think Mafia: DE) are exclusive to us. Online games are more of an improv session, for example FiveM Roleplay Servers for GTAV. Each has their place and preference is completely subjective, but there is a special place in my heart for both.
