We humans have something all in common and that is to act like we've never been raise well. That occurs when we are in our high temper in which we can't hold it in anymore. But other than that, some educated people really feels so elite that they don't care if they're stepping on someone's dignity.

The act of educated people acting uneducated is a result of anger and self esteem. Anger can do so much harm to a person that all dignity can be lost in a second. Self-control plays an important role to everyone, both educated and uneducated. Some highly educated people do feel superior over others who are not as widely read as they are but this should not be an excuse to treat people badly. This goes to both educated and rich people who sometimes believe they are superior over others.

Everyone should be treated well and with dignity.

I agree with ''Pointed nose's'' comment.I'll like to comment briefly on the topic.Human being are evil in nature unless one is well-mannered and considerate. The bad traits like arrogance, selfishness, pride, anger, thankfulness and hate will be seen in many people whether educated or not. Education does not teach us about how to live well in the society but it is geared towards showing us how we can be great thinkers and succeed in our works. A person who respects and loves other people must be meek and humble. If you think you are above everyone then you are wrong and you'll never be happy in society.

Been educated is not just going to school and obtaining a qualification. Education is facts, skills and ideas that as been learned. And they can be acquired in two ways either formally that's by going to school, college or university and informally that's by acquiring it yourself. With that being said, what OP said has nothing to do with education, it has much to do with the behavior of an individual, whether the person in question is educated or not it all goes down to the way we behave.

The fact is that education is multifaceted. All over the world, the academic aspect of education is emphasised at the expense of an all rounded personality. Virtues such as sympathy and empathy are rarely mentioned. The Intelligence Quotient (IQ) takes precedence over Emotional Intelligence(EQ) which is equally important. This has contributed to social schisms, workplace angst and generalized despondency in the society.

Education tends to mend the behavior of one person but can the not guarantees to transform his evil spirit into nobility. Education opens the door of knowledge but does not push him into it. The person himself has to peep into it and go towards the light. Knowledge shows the good and evil and one has to choose by himself. If an educated person behaves uneducatedly, this is not what education has taught him but he himself has done wrong intentionally. Getting a degree does not show others the value of his education but his behaviour, ethics, and actions are the represent of his degree, his education, and his knowledge.

Based to the situation sometimes you find educated acting uneducated. You don't expect in a garden to distinguish between the two but in an office the way the two will react one will be able to differentiate them.

According to me,I usually make the assumption that some educated people act uneducated due to cultural values adapted from their personal background among other factors.I can justify this point by using my tribe as an example.I am a dinka from South Sudan and I know for a fact that most educated people from my tribe act uneducated.I blame this on some of our cultural believes, for instance we believe that we should not adapt to some western cultures regardless of the level of education reached. This fact makes some of them look uneducated.

Education and intelligence are not always the same thing.

Just because a person has obtained an education does not always mean that their character will fall in line. While on the other hand, some educated people act a certain way because they don't want their peers to think that that have lost touch with them and their level of thinking.
