Just think about it. Everyday kids go to school and learn new things they will rarely use in the future like Pythagoras theorem, calculating the unknown value of "X" and newton's laws. Schools should really change the syllabus and teach kids what they need to know later on in life.

School is necessary to understand the basics of life. It depends on what you go into after school, that's why there are various programs for adults to do so they can venture in the career they want. Granted most kids will probably might not use the Pythagoras theorem, but some may go into it more and teach it. So yes, I think school is important because of this matter and should not be avoided. With school, you can get higher-paying jobs which I think is worth it.

I learned a lot of things I will never use, but this makes you in one case intelligent, so that you can learn other things too. For example, when you learn reading its horrible till you can read one sentence and it goes very slowly till you read fluently. But when you can read than you could read bullshit or things, which are interesting and brings you further to life. Or I had to learn latin and I was very bad, but to learn french or english was than very easy. Its important that you use and train your brain and this helps you to understand other things. So its important to train the brain, also with boring stuff.

A school is needed but.... What is being taught actually conflicts with having a mind free to think or grow with its own imagination which actually distorts the mind to lose that part that holds strong to imaginative thinking. The School system is based on a consumer-driven ideology make the best CEO-driven minds until they either become one or the latter. They have lost the sense of self-discovery and now teach to lead to their own possible outcome that they feel is surefire to corporate America. The school is needed but what has been lost is the fact of how we choose to teach our children and what tools we give them to be a better them whatever that might be.

To a degree, I am incline to agree with you. However, I feel that the school system needs to return to preparing people for the workforce or to become entrepreneurs. I feel that when youths reach high school, there should be programs designed to train students with skills that will make them job ready. Unfortunately, everyone is not college material. I just feel that this needs to be taken into consideration.
