    A client of mine is trying to keep costs low, but wants a really nice logo. I have used Fiverr guys before, but I've also always had a very clear direction for them to work with. For this particular logo, I need someone who will take a bit more creative lead of their own and be able to offer a few different mockup options for them to choose from and then further tweak.

    So how much would be reasonable to expect to pay for this kind of setup and logo?

    Well I take from $1 to $15 bucks for one logo, banner. Depends on how long I was working on it. I would say to pay more then 20 bucks for one logo makes no sense.

    I would never pay for a logo and the reason is simple. I can create some really cool logos myself!

    But seriously, it is worth learning some basic designing so that you can help yourself when you need a logo. There are some good free courses available online that can teach you the basics. Even if you get some one else to create logos for you, you can make changes to it yourself if you know how it is done.

    It all depends on the type of logo and the detail. If it is very detailed and requires a lot of time commitment, then I would pay around $10-$15. If it is something that can be completed in 30 minutes, then I would pay around $3-$6.

    It also depends on how much money you are willing to spend. If you have a cap of $10, then you need to find someone that is a little cheaper.

    I'm surprised that someone would pay only $15 or $20 dollars for a logo. Logo's mean everything to your brand. If a company wants a logo, they want a brand and that's what will distinguish one company from the next. So paying a mere $15 or $20 would be demeaning to a designer.

    Think about it this way, if the person who designed the apple logo was paid $15 then he might as well commit suicide because this is a billion dollar company that uses that logo on the back of its iPhone and mac computers.

    The least I would charge for a logo is $420 no matter how small the company is because you never know, it might end up being really big in the future.

    This depends on how many revisions you are providing and what type of quality is given.
    Basically you should be improving your skills as your price increases.
    Set up a basic fee for the worth of your time.
    (Ex: 1 Hour = $20.00 )
    Then you would add any additional costs.
    (Ex: 3 Revisions = $10.00)
    Then you would have your fee total after completing the project.
    In this example if the logo took 2 hours to complete and you provided the client 3 revisions your rate would be as follows ;

    2hrs = $40.00
    3 revs = $10.00
    Total = $50.00

    Hope this helps to get you started and motivated. Remember keep increasing your skills and your hourly worth as applicable.
    Good luck!

    Honestly, I would pay only around 1-20$ for a logo, because there not fully necessary for your business. You shouldn't pay over 20$ for something not entirely needed for your business. If you can come up with a snappy name for your business it can be just as important as a new logo. So no, I don't believe people should be shelling out more than 20$ for a new logo for their business.

    Exactly what I was thinking. As far as how much I would pay? I wouldn't, I'd create my own but for those who don't know their way around a photo editor there are cheap alternatives. Fortunately for consumers, and rather unfortunately for those of us in the field, websites like Fiverr and people who will do the job incredibly cheaply have undercut the market and made it very hard to actually get paid for your time.

    Of course, there are designers out there who still make a killing but I have to admit I have no idea how they're doing it. XD

    What that means is that you're not likely to have to pay over 100 bucks for a logo, even if it's created from the ground up. I would definitely have at least 50 bucks designated to it, even if you don't want to pay that much. Talk to a few designers, get quotes. Look at their samples. Sometimes it's better to shop around and really involve potential designers in your thought process and what you want/how much you want to spend.

    And if you like Fiverr, try talking to some of the guys you've worked with before to see if they'll do what you want and give you an estimate for it. good luck!

    I think value depends on what branding is being served. Some logos are clean and clear and they help branding. So from 500$ onwards they can be priced. More complex and attractive logo will cost even higher. If you go to freelancer.com and fiverr.com they may givee you 5$ to 100$ logos. But do understand that often those type of logos can't be good enough for you. And you have to approach some brand agency for better logo design makeover. Expect to pay higher if you wish to get your business ahead.

    I'm surprised to hear that some people pay as much as $500 for a logo. I paid someone at Fiverr to create a logo for me when I first started my online business and because I didn't have much money to work with I could only afford a $10 logo. It's now two years later and I have never felt the need to change my logo because it looks good enough and it serves its purpose very well. I don't think I will ever change it. One day I will be running a multi-million dollar corporation with a ten dollar logo...:D

    I would pay around $5 for a logo. Depending on how good the designer, I would pay much more. Experience in graphic design is the key. He or she can not get away without having that skill.
