Weight gain for skinny people

    There are many people who are so skinny and they feel bad for it. I have a few suggestions for these people. If you want to gain weight you must take care of your diet and exercise. Bodybuilding is the best way to increase or decrease your weight.


    First of all you would have to increase the intake of food with high calories and carbs. Try to eat a lot and eat everything. Potatoes and beef are good source of carbohydrate and protein. You can use oates for more calories. Banans are good for gaining weight. Join a gym and workout regularly. Try to lift big, eat big and take proper rest.

    Wow, almost no one ever touches this subject but as a under weight person I love the fact that you did! It is really important for me to stay in shape and slim but as someone who is really i bit too slim I would like to gain some weight but never really knows where to draw the line between gaining weight and staying slim.

    It is very difficult to perceive the amount of food one must take in order to gain weight if you want to gain it without supplements. It is also depends on if you are a ectomorph, mesomorph or endomorph. For ectomorphs which are the typical hard gainers, the focus should be on a huge amount of calorie intake in order to gain weight. Workouts should be short and intense focusing on large muscle groups aka compound exercises. Supplements are definitely recommended. People who are ectomorphs should eat before bed to prevent muscle catabolism during the night. Eat often and eat more than you are used to with minimum aerobic activities. For example, a workout plan should consist of a 3 times a week workout, lifting heavy and eating heavy while getting plenty of rest.

    I am a ectomorph myself and I found it hard to gain weight when I was younger, but with these tips I am on my way to having a body I always wanted.

    I don't know which category I belong. I find it hard to gain weight even I eat a lot. It takes time for me to gain weight but I can easily loss weight. Staying late for few night will definitely do the trick.

    I am on the slim side but I'm so loving myself this way.
    Why would I indulge in the intake of so much calories just to gain weight. The adverse effect of doing this in my opinion outweighs the benefit. If you do not appreciate yourself the way you are now, what is the guarantee that you will love yourself after gaining some weight. Self love is the key word here.
    To me, it all boils down to self appreciation. You just have to love yourself the way you are. Be confident of who you are. Just ensure you eat well, I mean balance diet, exercise regularly and ensure you have enough rest. Then, you are good to go.
