Gaming Consoles- Do they Entertain or Bore you?

Since it is the summer break teenagers, and adults alike, tend to get bored very easily. Recently I have been using a gaming console (Xbox 360). The main purpose of a gaming console is, as I understand it, to ease boredom; but for me it creates it. When I got bored I used to turn on the Xbox and think that playing a game would ease the boredom, but its giving me the totally opposite effect. I previously thought that I would enjoy just relaxing, away from the stress of college etc.., but I find sitting doing nothing even worse. You end up getting annoyed or upset if you can't do something, such as losing at a game, it just seems to create more stress than its worth. This could just be me, what do you think?

 

they make me very happy not bored at all because i hate playing games in pc and i get bored in that case but when i play in gaming console such as ps3 or xbox 360 or even wii i have fun and never get bored but i think that some people get bored and i dont know why so i like when i play need for speed in ps2 for exemple i have a lot of fun and also when i play call of duty too i have fun so after all the gaming console is way better then pc

 

sometimes i get home from work and power up my xbox one..... after dying a few times or failing a mission i get tired of it and just turn off the console. i have 0 patience for games sometimes, then a next minute i would play all day. for me however its online mainly the bots are generally too easy to kill lol
